The woman barely spoke English. I heard the word, “Bank” but couldn’t understand anything else she said. I had her repeat her company seven times until I understood that she was calling from Citibank, where I have two accounts. She then said she was with the fraud department and asked if I’d spent $471 with Walmart recently. I hadn’t.  I said I’ll ask my husband if he did.  He hadn’t either. That’s when she hung up on me. I called the real Citibank Fraud Department. They told me that our account has no charges from Walmart in recent history.
