- MorganCalled me and said that there was two charges on my bank account that they blocked, one for 700 dollars and one for 400 dollars. But that I needed to verify my user id on my account to ensure they didn't go through. The charges did not show up on my account that I pointed out to them so they said I would need to verify my account with my user id. I told them there was no money in my account because I took all of the money out and I wanted them to deactivate my account right there and then. He said they would and that he would send mail for confirmation to my location. then he hung up after telling me my current address.

- Heather JonesCalled me as Truist fraud support stating someone had access to my online banking and they’d need to deactivate my online banking for 24-48 hours. Told me a pending charge was on hold for a cell phone bill for $2000 for someone named Eric Gordon in Houston Texas. I received a fraud text before the call came through as well telling me someone added my debit card to a Samsung device in Houston Texas, the card that had already been cancelled for being compromised 2 weeks ago!

- K StephensCalled me as Truist fraud support stating someone had attempted to use my account via Apple Pay at a Publix in Florida. Wanted me to verify my User ID, etc. Interesting part of it all was that he knew my account had been hacked a few days prior and that there was a new card on the way. I did not give him my account info especially after his "I'm sending a text and email confirmation" attempts did not pan out. I told him I felt like the whole call was sketchy he apologized and said again that he was from Truist and then hung up. Called the number on the back of my card and they could not tell me if someone had called me from their fraud dept. Getting ready to move ALL my Truist accounts.

- TCGot a text that somebody was trying to use my card at Walmart. About a minute later a guy called and said he was from Truist Fraud Department. Knew my name and address. Told me he had deactivated my card and would send a new one next day delivery but it had been added to Apple Pay and needed to be removed manually so he’d need the number. Told him he could give me the number and I’d tell him if it was correct and he said blahblahblah about how they cant do that. Said I could look up the number he was calling from to prove it. Not paying attention I looked on the back of my card and saw it was the same number as the international one (with the added +1). Gave him my card info like an idiot while feeling it was sketchy the entire time. After that he said he was texting me a code and needed me to repeat it back to him and as soon as he said that I acted like the call was breaking up and called the US number and canceled my card. She said nobody tried to use my card. He called me back three times and after I got off the phone with her I answered and told him I called the US number on the back and canceled the card and he said “well go f-ck yourself alright” and hung up on me.

- SWallaceGuy called for my husband. I told him that he wasn’t here. I asked what this was concerning. He said that he was from truist fraud. That there was a $475 charge for airline tickets and it was made from overseas. I said we didn’t make that charge and didn’t have any business overseas. I asked him if this was Husband’s card and not mine. He gave me about 5 numbers and said that that’s what the card number started with. That I needed to get husband’s card and check the numbers. He didn’t verify who I was or if I could speak on behalf of my husband. And I don’t give any information over the phone. So I just told him I’d let husband call the fraud department when he got home. Then I looked up the number that this guy called me from.
