A male called my office today and asked to speak to my boss.  He stated he was S. Charles and was an old friend and to put him right through to my boss.  He was very rude and stated that my boss would be very angry if he didn't get put through.  My boss had no idea who it was and when we googled the number we found out it was just a telemarketer.

I just received a phone call from a Hispanic woman stating she wanted to speak to the Dr. (my employer). Totally rude when I asked what this was regarding as I could her a bunch of people speaking in the background. I tell her that he's not available and she states, well, they've talked before and to leave a message that Ed Charles called. I am the ONLY ONE HERE! He doesn't know an Ed Charles and this is a deceptive way to telemarket. They need to be stopped!

Rcvd call from Ed Charles for my boss.  Asked to take msg.  Caller gave name Ed Charles and phone #914-328-7030.  When asked, was told he was calling from Rockwell.  When I asked the topic of the call, I was told it was "Rockwell".  When I inquired further, the caller was rude and told me the matter was personal.  Acted surprised that I would request a topic and would only tell me that it was in regard to a "previous conversation".  Looks like I'm not the only one who's heard from Ed.

Just received the same call from Ed Charles from Rockwell!  Very Rude.  Message will not be forwarded to my boss.

I received the same call.  Asked to speak with my doctor, who is my boss.  I asked who was calling, and he said he needed to call Ed Charles who was a patient and gave me a number.  Seeing how the number was an area code that was out of state I asked what it was in regards to.  The man said a previous conversation.  I asked who the man was and he said "I am just a clerk"  I asked who he was a clerk for and he was very abrupt saying Dr. Himsl just needs to speak with Ed Charles.
I told my boss, who was curious and called the number saying he was Dr. --- calling back Ed Charles.  The woman on the line had no idea who we were and wanted a phone number where they could call back.  My doctor asked what kind of company this was and she said "Rockwell" and they were a holding company.  He said if it was super important this Ed Charles can call again and we hung up.

I got a message from my secretary (I am a physician also) and googled the number...found this.  The message was that "I'm a friend and he would know what it was about."  That means it's from someone I don't know.  Because, all my friends text me.  

Mark 914-328-7030 Rockwell from this company calls telling me he is calling to continue a conversation with the owner of the company. Nice Try Mark, what a liar you are. do not call here again!! yes you know who I am, I am the one how you thought I was going to send the message to my boss, the laugh is on you. this guy tried to sound so tough I was laughing on the other side, he wanted to talk to the boss, I told him I am his assistant and he does not take calls I will email him. I took down his name & return number looked it up on line and started laughing. my boss does not talk to these people.

I just got the same call. The caller has a very heavy India accent. She asked for our doctor regarding the last conversation.
When I told her she could only leave a message, she then asked our doctor to call a Daniel Dunn.

Same call saying it was Daniel Dunn, personal matter, wanted to speak to our physician.  Heavy Indian accent.  Do they think we are stupid?  LOL

I received a call asking for Dr. Dilly.  When I asked them what it was regarding they told me it was personal.  I stated to them that he would want me to take some kind of information, they stated again that it was personal.  So, I took the phone number & she said have him call Daniel Dunn back.  In the back ground you could hear alot of talking.

just got a call from 914-328-7030 from a hispanic speaking woman stating that Daniel Dunn needs to speak to the Dr. I asked who is Daniel Dunn and what is the relationship with the Dr. She stated that it is a personal matter, the Dr. would recognize the name and it is to continue a conversation they had previously.  I asked the date of the previous conversation and that I would need more information for the Dr. to return a call as he is not often in the office and without that information there would be no phone call returned.

They must have a thing for docs....

I called and the guy said this is Daniel Dunn... I said, well, Mr. Dunn, have you googled your phone number lately?
He was so rude and said "you need to hold on!"
So I hung up.

Just received a call from 914-328-7030 asking to speak to the doctor I work for.  Stated that it was Dr. Mark Potorni's office and that the phone call is a personal matter.  I double checked with my boss who had no clue who that person was.  The young lady was rather rude and there was a lot of noise and other people in the background - no way was that a doctors office.  I asked to take a message and they gave me the phone number again and refused to give me any other info aside from that it's a, "personal matter".  I decided to google the number and found this site.  What a scam.  Wonder what they're trying to get out of people......................

I received a call from a woman with a heavy accent insisting that a Mr. Daniel Dunn needed to speak with the Doctor about a personal matter.  No further info was provided - just that doctor would know the name Daniel Dunn...the doctor does not.

Got a call from this number for my boss who is also a doctor. If the woman was following a script, she really needs some practice. It was sentence...pause...sentence...pause...then "Call Daniel Dunn at 914.328.7030." Yeah, that won't be happening.

We're another physician office.  A woman called asking for one of the physicians, my receptionist took the message and gave it to me stating she had a funny feeling.  Caller was Ed Charles 914.328.7030 and it was a personal message.  I called back immediately, though I also had a 'funny feeling' and the phone was answered '"Rockwell" and I was told that "Mr. Charles was at an out of the office meeting" and Mr. Charles would need to call me back to give me any information regarding the nature of the call beyond 'personal matter.'

We all have better things to do than chase down bogus calls that get to our physicians, can't the FTC stop the harassment?

This time it was Daniel Dunn.  Left a message saying I would know what it is about.  When I called he wasn't available and the person on the phone had no idea what it was about.  Waste of time.

Today a lady with an accent called to speak to one of the surgeons in our group practice. When I told her he was not in today, the message she left me to give to him was, "Dr Daniel Dunn would like to speak to him about a personal matter" left the number 914-328-7030 to call back. I decided to Google the number and found this .

I'm so glad to have found this information. I'm not going to bother wasting his time.

Same as the other replies, woman called looking for my physician stating it was a personal matter and he would know what it was about. The name was Daniel Dunn. I forwarded it to my clinician and told him it was an odd message, he googled the number and showed this post.
