This strange number called my phone several times and when I pick up they hang up. It's getting real old very quick and I wish it would stop.

They keep calling. Last time asked for "Sasha", I told them they had the wrong number.  But that hasn't stopped them.

Got the call asking for 'Sarah Powers' - there is no one here by that name. and my phone number is a Magic Jack number! Putting that on the no calls list now.

Did this work?  These people have been calling me about online loans.  I've been getting several calls from all different numbers and they have all been about online loans.

Be VERY careful!!!  I've worked at a Regionally-accredited university for 20 years, and somehow I have gotten on a telemarketing list that is promoting "fly-by-night" for-profit schools that are presenting themselves as "nationally accredited".  First of all, if a college or university is not accredited by any of the following six accreditation associations, your degree may not be accepted by other regionally-accredited schools: New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges (MSA)
Southern Association of Colleges (SACS)
Western Association of Colleges (WACS)
Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges NWACS
North Central Association of Commission on Accreditation (NCA)

I am so frustrated with these scam schools!  I hate having to tell a student who has spent tons of $$$ to a non-accredited college or used up all of their financial aid for a useless degree that we can't transfer any of those classes into this university because the school was accredited by some agency that has not met the tough standards required to be accepted into one of the above associations..  Yes, some of these schools can legally call themselves accredited, but if it's not by one of the associations listed above, ask for proof that they are REGIONALLY accredited.

I promise I'm not rambling, just have alot of info that's important!  If you just aren't sure if a college you're interested in is okay, go to http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search  this is a guide put out by the U S Dept of Education, and I use it everyday to verify schools I'm not familiar with.  This is seems to have become a mission for me, since I have grandsons in college, and I work with students of all ages who are trying to improve their lives.

Now, I'm going to become a detective and find out how to get these scammers to leave me alone!

They called to see if I was interested in some type of schooling.I believe whom ever these low lifes are,they're trying to run some type of money scam B.S. Put them on caller block.

Has anyone had any luck putting their number on the Do Not Call list through the spammer's website (http://www.easycollegeoptions.com? I'm worried it will validate my phone number and make the number of calls increase.

they called my phone today, wasn't sure who it was. when i answered a lady counted 1........2........3 and hung up wtf...put my number on do not call list

This number keeps calling me and when i answer they just hang up with out saying anything and has been going on for two days

This number has been calling me three times a day, but I do not answer because it's no one that I know from that area code, but it is becoming really irratating to me. No idea who it is and I am not interested. All I know is that they are some college telemarketer from what everyone else says. They need to stop and really get a life.
