Indian fellow called  and said something was not working on my Windows.  Very hard to understand.  Second time this has happened.  Why don't people get a real job!!!

I have been seeing this on my caller ID....I don't pick up unless I know the caller. I am glad I found out that this is, indeed, a scam call. I might answer now just to screw with him! Thank you to all the people that took the time to relate their stories.

I received calls from Mr. Jerry Shaw and a Mr. David O'Connor the great news that I have won the American Sweepstakes and my prize is $850,000.00. Actually Mr. O'Connor would say that I had won the PCH Publishers Clearing House and when I spoke with Mr. Shaw he would say that I won the American Sweepstakes. In order to claim my winnings I would have to purchase a Green Dot Card for the amount of $350.00 so they can send someone to my home with a Certified Check. My other options were to put on the card the amount of $698 for a wire transfer or $850 if I wanted to personally pick it up at their office in New York City. Mr. Shaw would say that the money on the Green Dot Card was only an insurance and that they would return that money to me. After talking with them over the phone for about a week I was able to put some pressure and finally Mr. Shaw gave me the news that they made a mistake and that I had won $5.5 million dollars. In order to claim that amount I had to call 702-330-9625 and speak with Mr. Ray Coyle from Las Vegas, Nevada to make arrangements to pay the amount of $74,000.00. I got him to email me a copy of the Cashier's Check in my name for the $5.5million dollars. I called Bank of America for validation and of course the check was a forgery. Then I called Mr. O'Connor and he wanted me to follow the instructions and make payment arrangements for the $74,000.00. I told him to stop, that this is all a scam, that I had done some investigation including the bank and all adds up to being a SCAM. He just went silent or hung up. Then I called the Las Vegas number expecting to speak to a Mr. Coyle but no, that is another number for Mr. Shaw who was supposed to be on a flight to Japan for some promotion. I told him about the check and all he was able to say was that I had a copy but he had the original and it is not the same information. I told him if that a copy is just that a copy of the original therefore it has the same information of the original, suddenly my phone line went silent. So beware of phone numbers (315) 289-1788 ; (702) 330-9625 ; (876)546-8868 and the names Jerry Shaw, David O'Donnell, Paul Pillion, Ray Coyle, Frank White, Paul Thomas, Carl Lewis.
