Daily calls from "March of Dimes" finally called number back and outgoing message is from the Law Enforcement Education Program, so left a message with my number to be removed from call list.

Same thing here.. multiple calls daily.. caller ID reads "March of Dimes".. when I called back the number it said "Law Enforcement Legal Fund".. added this number to my telephone blocked list.

Keep getting calls at least 5 times a day from this number.everyday for last few weeks.getting really annoying now.everyone's always asking for money.say no and they keep,calling

I received two calls from this number today.  Both appeared in CID as "March Of Dimes" but the greeting voice said "Law Enforcement and Education Program".  Both times someone ultimately spoke, but it was after I repeatedly said "Hello?" during a long period of initial silence.

I've been receiving a number of these kinds of calls.  It is a new kind of robo-calling that has some artificial intelligence built in.  I think the long silence is so the call can confirm *it* is talking to a live person and not an an answering machine or voicemail.

Instead of just reciting a message like dear Rachel from Card Services used to do, the AI is programmed to attempt to provide reasonable responses in conversational tones so you *think* you are talking to a live person.  You're not.

Try asking it a nonsensical question like, "please tell me more about how you provide framistats to protect our gizmos in uniform."  Most likely you will receive a questioning response like, "I'm sorry, I don't understand."  Repeat the same question again.  You will hear the same response in exactly the same tone of voice and inflection.

If you repeat it enough times the call will disconnect.  Try varying your nonsensical questions.  You'd be amazed how far AI has progressed.   Merry spoofing!

A guy calls multiple times per day and many times during the week from caller id "March of Dimes" and the number is 914-984-2931.  When we have answered and he asks to speak to a specific person in the household, when asked who is calling, he states "this is a courtesy call", then we ask what this is about and he says "this is Rick, is "X" there?

This is pure harassment, as this has been occurring for months.

This last time, "Rick" continued to give me the run around and I demanded that they take us off their calling list and asked for the 800 # that telemarketers are supposed to provide when asked to no longer be called.  He did not provide any number and eventually said goodbye and hung up.

I tried calling that night and today and the phone number recording says this is the law enforcement and education program and no one is available to take this call...

If this is the March of Dimes then why do they keep calling from different #s when I tell them NO on 1 #. Then I get calls from the other #'s 3 to 4x a day.  What I heard is they collect for the fund but the fund only gets about 10 cents of each dollar donated the rest goes to there administration fee, Its A SCAM.
