Stop them how? Is this not "a user supplied database of phone numbers of telemarketers, non-profit organizations, charities, political surveyors, SCAM artists, and other companies that don't leave messages, disconnect once you answer, and simply interrupt your day"?

Yes, but intelligent people seek solutions to their problems. In this case it is extremely simple. You go to their website where they tell you how to remove your number from their database and stop the calls. Before you come up with some lame excuse I have done it and have never received a call from them again. Many, many, many people have done it and it has worked. So you can take the time to complain or you can put it to good use. I don't really care what you do since I am no longer getting the calls from them because I took the time to find out what to do.

I have no lame excuse, only curiosity and the desire to help others. That said, thank you for going into detail. OP was likely just a knee-jerk post so that others have a quick answer to "who is calling" and now they'll see your comment and know there's a good solution as well. Yay internet!
