- LESLIE| 6 repliesThis is crazy and it's pissing me. I ignored it for a long time until I received 801 call in one month. My husband is pissed cuz it's eating our minutes. He swears someone took it when I lost it in December and they are now using it as a number for forward calls from jail. I'm just piss cuz Verizon says the only to fix it is to get a new number. I'm pissed. Do you think it has something to do with Google?
- Caller: 9166294665
- ME replies to LESLIEI keep getting calls from that number also! What was your outcome?
- RezaI have had the same problem. This is my second bill with the same problem. Verizon is not willing to do anything about it. Ii have no choice but to pursue the matter legally. Verizon associates have not been cooperative. They also very ruse and arrogant. I will be done with Verizon as soon as my contract is over.

- Lyn ShermanCell phone was stolen today and calls to this number have been continually showing up. Phone deactivation will not happen until midnight 8/8/12. 2 more hours. Verizon has been notified of the situation but can't do anything because we deactivated the phone and reactivated it the same day in order to do an iPhone WIPE.
I Google the number it says: that it is a number used to forward calls from jail. Not sure how true this is. But when my replacement phone arrives, I hope it doesn't continue with the new phone as it will be the same phone number.- Caller: Verizon
- Itsreallyeasy replies to LESLIECome on folks. Just go to your "My Verizon" account and there is a block messages and calls. You get 5 free numbers to block. Pretty simple. At least its there as of today, because I was getting that crap too. We will see how it goes and in fact it does get blocked.
- rmonlvGetting the same problem here too, it shows up in my minutes usage but dont say incoming or outgoing. and I did not get any call like that or made calls to that number according to my call logs. called verizon and they cant do anything about it, I tried adding the number to friends and family and block numbers and still not working and the only thing that the verizon can do is to make a report on to there system for now hoping that they will find what is going on our phones..
- EliseSo, I just called Verizon, in the menu tree, I said, "Block Phone Numbers" and they told me exactly how to do it - done. The creep won't be stealing any more of my minutes now.
- Caller: 916-629-4665
- EliseWait! I take it back. I figured it out! This is Google Voicemail! It's my call being forwarded to Google Voice :)
- Caller: Google Voice
- kerry| 1 replyIf veiled threats are illegal then how about just stating simply that if I find out who is behind this, I will serve justice as it should be. Cold brutal and with satisfaction.
If you read this post mr 9166284665 I suggest you keep doing what you are doing as it will be ever so satisfying to nail you to a wall - bill oOh man. This is awesome. How is it that you idiots get to this page, and then STILL post? The 4th comment tells you exactly what's happening. kerry - good luck bringing your ITG act to Google headquarters. Christ almighty....
- Caller: Google, baby!
- Jim AndersonI looked at my phone bill and saw the bulk of my calls were from 916 629 4665. I don't know anyone from this number and wonder if these calls are legal. I get a lot of unwanted calls from various numbers and locations around the nation, all trying to sell products I don't want or need. I am nearly ready to change my phone number
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TomGot several calls from an Ontario CA number being forwarded from this number: (916) 629-4665. After reviewing the 2 minute message it sounded as if someone had pocket dialed me. No one said anything. Will try blocking these numbers and see what happens.
- JIt's the number used when you use or forward, set up on Google Talk.
- Caller: Google
- kaila replies to JayI thought so as well, but I received a message from an actual person. It seems that if someone sets up a google voice account, but then cancels their secondary number then it automatically gets reassigned... sometimes to other people.
