This is a scam! I spoke with a Detective today. This is a pre-paid phone in New York. They left a message for us saying that someone was in process of filing a legal claim against us. He spoke very broken english and made it sound also as if our credit may have been compromised. They are trying to get people to give them their personal information.  When I called them back, he answered a simple "Hello". Sounded like he was in a bar or restaurant. BEWARE. Do NOT call them back or release your information.

My local police dept. told me to hangup on them everytime they call. If this was liget then there would be a letter first. But if payday loan is out there the company has your bank information and can collect the amount or will clearify with you before they do anything. The worst thing I have ever had a payday loan do to me is to report to the credit bureau for collection they never at any time threatened me with jail or jail time. This is definately a scam and needs to be caught but my police dept. says they are out tof the country and somehow getting access to cellphone numbers across America.  I have had several different calls from lots of different numbers. The cell phones have come from Hawaii, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, and somewhere in Illinois. I don't know if the Attorney General is working on these scams or not but I reported them to our State. He says there isn't much he can do but I think if all the states were made aware of the scam someone should be able to catch them before they find someone who sends them lots of money to stay out of a bogis jails sentence.

watch out for middle eastern anger man calling you. they say someone gave them your name and they owe money and they are coming after ref names on the loan.

guy said he was Max Wayne. I thought it sounded fishy and with that name I knew something wasn't right.

I got probably 10 phone calls last night from a man of Indian descent who went by the name of Paul Fernandez (yeah, because I've met Indians with that name before).  They also called my husband's phone just as many times.  Usually they just hang up after we don't give them what they want.  I have reported this many times to the police and FBI.  This stuff needs to stop.

These people are nuts!!!They have been calling me at work AND Home. My home number is unlisted!!! This is getting ridulous. They are now harrassing my friends and family. How do I make them STOP. I know who I owe money to and they are not on the list.  Travis my butt, since when do people from India name their kids Travis? They must be making a lot of money in order to risk doing this. Think about how many people they have bilked out of money especially the elderly who are afraid of the harrassment. Hang up on them, do not call back, alert ALL you friends and family to let them know DO NOT accept the calls!! And DO NOT give out any info!!

I got a call from this same company today at work. They have harassed me several times in the past and when I don't return the calls they stop. They then start up agian 3 0r 4 months later. Very irritating.

Same thing but from Terry or Jerry Walter, obvious middle eastern accent. Told him, he was wrong, he then said 'I will see you in courthouse then.' and hung up. Obviously looking for someone who will fall for this scam and actually give  them some money. He had 3 people that I normally have as work references. He must have found an old resume with my referenced attached.

Well,,, they seem to get us all, pissed off and wondering what the f** so I tried to stop the #'s on my block feature on my cell phone, but I see they have recieved their infor from 3rd party...who have actually given them my ss and home address... this is what we have to deal with when these companies sell all your sh*** to scum bags, ,, ,  hope they soon catch the jibbies and go away as we cant seem to make that happen

the calls from acs are made from india aspecially from the state gujarat
the person from the name KUNAL NAYAK and RUCHI DESAI are running this call center in ahemdabad city of gujarat state,,
SANKET DESAI AND UNNATI DESAI  are running this call center from the name PINNABLE in navsari city state gujarat,,, RAJESH IS THE  manager of navsari call center

My phone calls started about june of 2009. Same thing, several different names and phone numbers to call back, heavy indian or Middle Eastern accents. Claiming that I owe money for unpaid internet payday loans. Ok so I did get a couple payday loans when we were tight with money, but I know they have been paid off I have checked my credit report and I am not finding any thing indicating that I owe. Plus where is the paperwork if I am to be arrested or taken to court. It is my understanding that I would receive something in the mail or delivered by a uniformed officer if this were true...Am I right?
