Got two calls from this number recently. Wasn't home so didn't answer.

i'm also on the do not call list. 9184420710 called me once last night at 5:08pm and just now at 2:58pm. i don't answer calls i don't know and they didn't leave a message either time. I'm with AT&T.

This number has called my cell 3 times in the last week; always disconnects before I can answer.  I have Verizon.  I called back and got automated msg saying, "Thank you for calling back.  Push one if you wish to be placed on our "do not call" list and not receive any future offers."  I did so we'll see what happens.

Called my cell phone (Verizon) twice on 1-5-10. Answered second time.
- This is GE Security Systems, looking for model homes to install a free wireless security system. Are you the homeowner?
- "I'm not interested." (I hear my words several seconds after I speak them.)
- I get that alot. I just need to confirm some basic information so a salesperson can give you the details so you can make an informed decision. Are you the homeowner?
- "I'm not interested."
Repeat two or three times.
- blah blah blah so I can transfer you to a salesperson.
- "Ok," planning to hang up while I'm being transferred to the salesperson.
- Are you the homeowner?
- "Yes."
- Could you state your first and last name so the salesperson will know who he's talking to?
- "I'm uncomfortable continuing with this phone call because it sounds like one of those where a phone call is recorded and snipped together to sound like something else."

Within a minute or two I received a phone call from 334-581-1112 (no response when answered), then another one 18 minutes later (not answered).

by "removing your number and adding it to the do not call list" they mean their own do not call list, not the do not call list everyone thinks of

I have received 4 calls on my verizon cell phone within the past two days: never managed to pick up on time. city ID on my phone says its from Tulsa, OK. upon calling back, i tried to hit "1" but for whatever reason i was unsuccessful as each time i tried it just ended the call... and dialed my voice mail.

pain in the !@#  keeps calling my cell number.  Got a person one time, told them to quit calling.  2 hrs later get another call.  what the ???

9184420710 a security company or something, says OTO GROUP on the caller ID.....

I ALWAYS answer the phone with Good Morning, afternoon or evening, as I have a home office!   In reply  they ask "how are you this evening"  and I just simply reply,  "I'm sorry the office is closed"   and ask if they have an emergency order to be placed..... freaks them out and they mumble and hang up.

the echo or recording echo, indicates they are not necessarily honest, and NEVER say the words "yes" as it is possible they will say you agreed to BUY something, and use the recording against you.

ALWAYS answer as if you are a company --  even if on the no call list.  VERIZON seems to have ""SOLD""  it's customer's telephone numbers .....  aggravating and illegal to have done so.

I received a message from this phone number on my cell phone, saying that they were from the "Home Security Group".  I told them not to call again.  They called before and I did call back and told them to take my name off their list.  They still called again.  I also filed a report with the FTC.  I'll do that again, though I'm not sure it will help.

another victim of this stupid number! I'm sure verizon wants the additional calls to be made since it might just help eat up your minutes. I am leaving Verizon for this reason among many others.

This is not a Verizon issue. I am with Vonage, have my number the to do-not-call list and have received a call from this number 4 times today. They do not leave a message.
