He must be Nuts,Calling People,He called me Three times and was about 15min.20 min.apart He said he new me and he loved me.I search The InternetI come up with a (City) Morrisville,(State) NC no name.

Yeah, i just found out that my friend from overseas is usng the internet to call me here in USA and apparently that phone number shows up instead of the local phone in Morocco so dont worry one source of the number is. Internetcalls.com

this number called me at my work, and it has been 2 days since he is calling.. he talks arabic and he was really rude.. i believe there's no chance to know who is that since that is from a website

it is right that this number is from a program you can download for free called Oovoo from Oovoo.com.. but this is really something disturbing where anyone can call whom ever they want and be annoying

I didn't receive one of these call myself but still I work for a phone company and I did witness one of my collegue receiving several calls from this number.  I was curious so I googled in that number and got several forums similar to this one.  

With my work experience and with what I did read about calls made from this number, it's obviously calls made by someone who wants to make prank calls and wish to remain anonymous.  

I'm taking for example my collegue, when I mentionned some people were using  skype or any other type of phone/video/chatting online service to do prank calls, she immediatly though about a guy she  dated but she has ended there relation because he was to weird.  She immediatly suspected that guy because she knew he was using Skype a lot!

So keep in mind, in most of these cases, possibly someone you know is using a web base communication device to prank you.  I'm not saying it's the case for everyone but still, if people have your number, it's possibly someone you know or someone related to someone you know.

What to do now...  Well as customer service representative for a phone company, I always recommand to my clients to report these calls to the authorities.  If Oovoo.com is a respectable company they are able to track down users with the IP address, so it means investigators are able to track down where these persons are calling you from.

In US report this to FBI and in Canada report these cases to RCMP/GRC.
They will deal with this situation and take the appropriate actions.  

Just remember, every communication can be traced if we know how it was processed.

Also call your phone service provider to get inform about the possibility of the "call tracer".  It a service most of telecom service providers offer.  This service automatically record time, date and call originator and makes it easier to track down by police or other investigation organism.

Got a call on my cell and the guy was speaking in an accent and asked if i liked sex. I thought it was some of my co workers playing a joke so I hung up.
When I got home my wife asked me if I knew anyone from the 919 area code and then she told me she got a similar call on her cell. Our numbers are just one digit apart. This program must dial numbers in sequential order.

everyone must not respond. these numbers are usually folks trying to steal minutes from your cell if they are calling to your cell. also these calls maybe not this number are folks trying to collect on charged off old debts. DO NOT ANSWER ANY NUMBER YOU DO NOT KNOW AND NEVER I MEAN NEVER CALL BACK

I did not recognize this number so did not pick up.  919 is supposedly the area code for North Carolina and I don't know anyone from there.  I hate it when strangers calling my cell and waste my prepaid minutes.

I received a call on 03/31/2008 @12:32PM.  Unless I know the number or caller, I never answered my cell phone.

This guy just called my home, speaking Arabic, and then changed to French.  I did not know the number 919-741-6730, so I hung up.  He then immediately called my Cell phone and started speaking French asking me where I was.   He change to English asking me the same information, and wanted to know if I was located in the US.  He told me he was in Morocco...........looks like a list and we are all potential target for getting scammed, watch your bank account!

This caller called and left a goofy voicemail... like humming and going "uhhhhhhhhhhhhh" repeatedly into the phone...PHYSCO!!!!!

This guy called me at 1am twice and did exactly what the above comment said. I didn't pick up cause I was half asleep. When I heard the voicemail, he took forever to say someting in Arabic cause he kept on going "uhhhh" before every word. What a [***].

this mf called me on Friday at 3:45 in the morning!!!!!

I just started getting these calls and they're beginning to piss me off.  My cellphone doesn't have the capability to block the number.  Now that I know what it going on, I won't pick it up.  He's called me at all hours of the day and night.  Although I don't like turning my phone off at night in case of emergencies, I just might have to do so.

I filed a formal complaint with the Raleigh, NC Police Department.  I'll keep you posted.

I got a call at 5:07 AM on monday morning... I keep my phone on silent at night as I get alot of texts. So this guy left me a voice mail he knew my name and said that there was a they heard there was a peeping tom in my area and they were concerened and wanted to know if I was okay and to call them back. I automatially checked my minutes because I figured they were trying to steal them... I still had them.. this is very strange People are quite crooked out there!

I own a flower shop in Scarborough, Ontario -this guy called me wanting to order 50 dozen roses and pay over the phone with a credit card !
I did receive an earlier e-mail from him (avalon877@yahoo.com);
he identified himself as Mattew(his spelling)Gates.
After I hung up I looked at the recent call display on my phone;
919-741-6730 appeared.
