They just started calling me... they did not leave a voice message which is annoying since I never answer a call from someone I do not know. And not leaving a voice mail to identify themselves, I shall never pick up a call from this number or anything with 919 area code.

Here is what I did: Call their call center at (800) 752-4172. Make up a name and ask for that person. Keep asking until they say something like, "I don't know that person" and then respond, "well you keep calling me asking for someone I don't know. I thought I'd do the same thing." Maybe if we all do this these losers will stop harassing the public.

I keep getting a call from this number and they DO leave a message, "This message is intended for <name>. If you are not <name>, please discontinue listening to this message immediately. By continuing to listen to this message you acknowledge that you are <name>. This is Absolute Collection Service and we are attempting to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please call us back at ....."

No, by continuing to listen to this message for <name> the ONLY thing I am acknowledging is that I cannot delete your stupid message until the end of it.  By discontinuing listening to the message, how do they suppose we'll get the number to call back and tell them they have the wrong #?  Course from what I've been reading, you can tell them that until you are blue in the face and it won't make a difference <sigh>. So tired of these annoying as sh&! calls.

I have been getting calls from this number as well stating that it is a collection agency. The call is ended after I am being transferred to an agent to talk with. When I call back the line is busy.

Collection agency when dialing back to tell them wrong number I get a busy signal. Irritating.

Here's the number to call these [***] back. I got about 7 calls today in less than 7 minutes with no recordings or nothing, just a bunch of clicking like its trying to hang the phone up on me. well I dearched them down got this number & called them. [***] answers the phone blah blah collections. Told her their automated bull [***] is messed up, it called me 7 times in less than 7 minutes. she asked for my number I told her she claims my number isnt in their system & their wires must be crossed, I cussed at her & told her it needs to be stopped. She was typing like hell as I was talking to her.

This is a number for a medical collections company; for example, they called me about a past due bill I had at Mission Neurology several years ago.

These people call me every day and NEVER leave a message.  When I try calling the number back, it's either busy or no one answers.  How can I block this number?

Received a call at 10:41 AM CMT and told me to select 0 if the person receiving message was Marney Gentry.  I pressed 0 and it just kept ringing.  I then hanged up.

Sorry about your loss.  I cannot believe how rude they were to you.  I have answer the phone, but, then it just disconnects.  I have caught them once and told them that the 4-5 people that they are calling my phone number about have nothing to do with me.  Credit Collections employee's are a whole different breed of people working for commision.  But, I am appalled to read how rude they have treated you.  Very very disrespectful.  They rather assume people are lying than believing the truth.  All they want is that dollar.  I hope they have left you alone.  But, these kind of companies will let it rest for a while, and then they will start it up all over again.  Dont answer them anymore.  Get your telephone company to block the number, even if it costs you, it will be worth it.  Good luck.

These credit card collectors are crazy!  I changed my previous phone number just because of this reason.  Now that I got this new number (been a year now) this collector has been calling me not for me, but for 4-5 other people that I have never heard of.  Apparently, I got a bad phone number given to me since the previous owners of my new number were being harrassed by this collector.  Oh my God, this is a nightmare.  Now its worst than it was before I changed my number.  I have told them over and over again that this is a new number for me.  Indian accent guy asking me questions like how long I had this number, blah blah blah.  He had a rude tone.  I was politely answering his stupid questions, but they still call.  Collectors are a different breed of people.  As if they dont have debt and they think they have the right to upset someone else's day.  How can they go to sleep at night with a job like that?  I wish the government would do something about these collections callers.  It's not right what they do.

This number called me 5 or 6 times a day till I was able to block it through a cell program... Just a stupid recording... not a real person... STOP CALLING ME!
