guys this is a yim chat room number with various users...if youve been in the rooms stop going change your yim and user name and accept only messages from your contacts in your settings. the only way to know who it is- the user name at the end of the number if its a text or yim you will never get their name but you can report that user name as harassment...otherwise they are doing it anonymously from the chat room and there are many on yim. So if its a spouse getting it than they are going in these porn type chat rooms or one of the others...there are many types..this number is a pick up room with ppl from dating sites mostly and trash talk. any number 92466 is a chat on yim only the last 3 digits change according to which room it is ok.

i meet this guy on match.com and have been chating since tues.  i thought it was ok since we met on the dating service, but all these things that i'm reading here has me concerned.  i don't know his name other than an email jamesrobert021@yahoo.com and yes when he sends text to my phone it comes up as 92466501.  he says that he's in africa buying antiques to bring back here and open a store and that he's from koln,germany, has a 12yr old son that he home schools, a widower,  he said that he's gonna call me tomorrow and if he does i'm not sure that i want to answer it,  if this is true that it's all a scam then i am so pissed at myself for letting this happen i know that i'm smarter than that i guess thats what happens when you get lonely.  there is even a pix of him(well i guess now supposingly him) on match.com, he has never asked for money, omg wtf do i / did i do?

Yeah I got one today too from 9246651 and it exactly said "sk8gal101: hey pretty boy"  how did he/she know me?  How is it connecting from you people to me? I'm in high school and idk how they know me. The only info I have is it's from a phone using Internet and from yahoo I checked all of yahoo and this person does not exist?!   Kinda worried!

I was Texted today from the 92466501 and The person told me he knew I was going to see my Best friend and If I did then something would happen. I cursed him out because I thought it was somebody playing a prank on me, well it wasnt a joke. The person who txted me must have seen my face book and other socail net working pages because he knew about my family! Again I cursed him or her out adn told them if they was smart then they would leave me the hell alone and to stop txting me. I believe I made a mistake and NOW I am super creeped out. I am going as far as going to the police and trying to track this number.... I hope and pray this works..so that everyone on here can have answers.

This person or persons are disturbed.  I intend to spend as much as I have to to find out who it is and report them the the proper authorities.

This lady that is supposedly a yahoo user name "Stacy Lorren" was supposd to sell my sister and I teacup yorkies. It wasn't legit enough to us and look what I found when I type the number she is texting me from into Google.

got many texts from this person saying he was Mark Evans from Ohio and he has deleted the match.com profile he had.  very very scary !!!!!!!!!!!!

i got almost the exact same thing on match.com.  said widowed with 12 yr old son.  CREEPY and wont stop texting me.  i just told him on the text that i was reporting him.  FREAKS in this world

I received several txt messages today from this number. His name was Dannmart2010.  He said that he recieved my resume from a job that I applied to off of craigslist.  He sent about 5 txt messages and even replied to mine.  strange!!  I called Verizon to make sure I'm not charged some strange subscription fee or anything.  Don't reply to these txts!!  delete!

I had my husbands phone and was about to put it on charge for him when a text message came through saying that a Yahoo user was sending a message. Since only a hand full of people have his number, I thought it was a little odd. Then I received a 2nd message from Pamelafain21 just saying 'Hey'. Don't know who it is so looked it up online and found out that alot of people are having the same issues. Did not respond and if it happens again, I will be changing his number.

The texts that show as 92466501 are from Yahoo messenger. People can use Yahoo messenger to send an SMS text and this is the number that shows all the time. So the text maybe from someone you know yet it is more likely it is from someone you do not know. Sometimes it is a scammer.
I was communicating with someone I met on Match.com. It turns out he is a scammer. He sent me texts from this number. He is from Nigeria but said he was from the states doing business in the Philippines. Liar. If this happens to anyone else, Nigeria has a website to report crimes to that involve money. I hope that people who have had this happen flood that website with their information because this needs to stop. The website address is - http://www.efccnigeria.org.
This is the truth about that number. I have spent weeks researching it due to the scam. I did report it on the website two times within a week because I wanted a response and they did communicate back with me.

i got text messages from this number.. first it called me sweetheart and said its hassan... im scared! what do i do?!

i signed up for secret shopper and he sent me a package with a bogus check and tried to scam me out of 1950.00.. then texted me and said to fiinish the packet immediatley and get him the money.. told him i wasnt stupid.. this idiot is from somewhere in winston salem nc.. the package was mailed from there and that is where he wants the money sent.. he didnt even research from where he suposedly sent the package from.. i can explain more but its long.. lol.. he will not reply to my text after i told him how shati he is for tryin to steal almost 2 grand from someone.. hes ignoring me now..

This scammer found me through model mayhem (have no clue how) and went by the name of zachary logan telling me he worked for Vogue and wanted to shoot with me. Said to email him at albertjerry45@yahoo.com (funny how the email address didnt match his name) so I did and he responded with this very professional email about the history of vogue,what the shoot would consist of and then the big part MONEY. Like an excited idiot, i gave him my info that he asked for (name,number,address) Said i would receive a check of $2,950.00,to take 500 out for myself and send the rest to some person named alma in texas (specifically to western union it) but I never responded to him. A week later, a check surely did come in the mail for that amount and i also received an email telling what to do with the check,but i did not respond. Later on I received a text from josesila: 92466501 asking me how i was doing. I asked who it was and he said a colleague to Jerry Albert.

I then replied that I was Fedexing the check back (which is who delivered it to my house) and to never contact me again. He replied "ARE YOU INSANE! YOU WOULD RUST IN JAIL FOR THIS LIES!" which is when i knew that he was obviously a dumb foreigner who used easy words incorrectly. I didn't reply to that text. By that time I had to cops at my house telling me it was just a scam and not to worry about it but NOT to cash the check because I would get screwed and have to owe the bank the amount the check was made out for.

Next morning I received an email from albertjerry45@yahoo.com saying:
(My name),I WILL LIKE TO TELL YOU THIS FOR THE LAST TIME..... WE ARE NOT HERE TO PLAY SO STOP PLAYING ON US AND OUR MONEY. HEED TO THIS WARNING FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

You don't threaten me and think you'll get away with it. I had the cops back and showed them the email. I printed out every conversation me and "jerry albert" ever had plus gave the cops the check (lied to number when said i was sending it back) and they took it to the lab to investigate it for finger prints and crap. Now that i found all these comments, I'm even more pissed! I blocked albert jerry from my yahoo but not josesila: 92466501. I think i'll mess with him now for messing with me and i know exactly how to do it.

Just a scam, dont worry about the threats and crap people,they're just trying to scare you into following their sick demands! dont be weak or stupid.

Also, when i went back to his model mayhem account,it surely was deleted. I then researched his email address, he had a twitter,facebook,myspace and a bunch of dating website profiles but when i went to check them out-GONE! DELETED! creepy,huh? makes you think he deleted them just to focus on you.

once again,dont be afraid,they're just scammers who are playing it smart.
