Well, I can see some of your concerns and I'd say they're probably legit if you don't know someone's yahoo account name.  I got texts last night from this #, but I knew his (one of my best friends) yahoo account name, so I knew it was him, so just to let some of you know...it is a yahoo messenger capability - to be able to send a text from their messenger.  So, it might be someone you know...it might not.  If you don't know the person's email handle on yahoo, then you may not know...

Oh and to add to that, I knew it was him because after the number, it came up with his yahoo handle name...fyi!

Go to page 27 & read what FYI states about David Arron, she also list phone numbers.  Then maybe you'll realize that he is a scam, even though he told you - that it want him.

I really hate it for you & anyone else that thinks he's wonderful, because he's scamming them too.

Thanks for the message - I appreciate it - there are some low life people out there. I'm way, way, way over thinking this was a nice guy now - it was all brand new and fresh when I wrote this stuff before.

It's too bad you can't just believe people are being honest and upfront about who and what they are - I am that way so I assume everyone is....not the case!  I don't want to really say I'm gullable, I just trust - it's sad not to be able to but I've learned my lesson.

The entire time my gut was telling me "this isn't for real - this is crazy" but I kind of talked myself into thinking ... "maybe it is - I'll give it the benefit of the doubt" - oh well live and learn - at least I didn't lose anything or get hurt in any way.

I would never in a million years do that to anyone - it's just wrong.  I believe in Karma so we need not do anything - it will be taken care of in it's own way and time :-)

i think i'm in a Nigerian scam from a date site i was on for 2 weeks.....everything fits all the other complaints from this site.........this guy sends me IM's and now he has this mobile # and won't leave me alone.......supposedly he is a Chet Parker but he will not give me any personal information about himself or prove who he is other than he sent me a bogus USA passport with the real Chet Parker's picture......but it is a bogus passport and i think the pic is just pasted in..........it's getting annoying and very scary....

Screw all this online stuff - meeting people online and talking to strangers online - anyone can be, say or act like anything sitting behind a computer - - very scary, unsafe and pretty crazy actually.  Unless you can see someone and get to know them in person it's pretty much all BS.

Sorry don't mean to be a downer to online daters - - seriously though - I could tell you I'm a 6' blonde, blue eyed Swiss Victoria's Secret model - unless you saw me, how can you argue with that??

You can do a search on him by going to a couple different sites Spokeo & there is one if he send you a regular email check the IP address, also go on myspace & check for him using his email address & profile name.  You can sometimes just his information & it will come up.

Do be ware of the scams from the dating sites, they will usually tell you they are a widow/widower & they usually have kids, Run a construction business & working in Nigeria on a construction project.
They will romance you with beautiful poems & such.  After they gain your trust, they will come up with a hardship & ask you to help them out with money, DON'T SEND THEM ANY!  Don't tell them they are a scam because it only takes them 15 minutes to change their profiles & email address.  Please tell all your friends to be aware of this happening.  Thank You.

I've been in contact with a person pretending to be Kenneth Olsen with Memorytenx.net. He is a scamer and tried to send me checks to cash, take a little out for myself, and then send the rest to a contact through Western Union. Do not give this person any personal information.

Now they are trying to sell puppies ...just got 10 text messages in less than 2 minutes and 5 emails.

I just recently had the same experience than a lot of you on here.  I'm a french canadian and had the same number from my cell phone 924 665 01.  Here's my story.  The contact was on Badoo Facebook on the name of Nicolas Harrison from Texas.  He first contact me.  Very handsome guy and charming and everything like you almost said : flowers ...  His story was that his wife was dead from a breast cancer 3 years ago and I was the first woman who he was talking to  bcause he wanted to have a new life with a new woman in his life after being very badly hurt by the death of his wife.  He wrote me verrrryy long messages with all the nicest words you can imagine !  He told me he was his own boss as engineer with 70 employees with a big contract in Nigeria.  I finally gave him my cell number after he asked me twice.  The first time we chat, he ask me my cell number and didn't want. The next day, I give it to him.  I talk to my work friend about this new flirt and my friend told me if she could have the cell number. Her boyfriend made an investigation and I made my own one cell phone number company.  And I was lucky, after only about 30 hours that this number was a scam from Nigeria.  I then stop my contacts.  I received a last message from this Nicolas Harrison, if he really exists, telling me he was happy knowing me but not happy that I didn't connect the night before.  So I write him back telling him about all what I knew from my friend and my cell phone company and never ever write me again ... also told him how he dared using the name of God in his emails !!!! Nerver hear about him since.  Hope my story will help ... Be vigilant !!

... I forgot ... It's the same friend that helped me who made me know about this site "whocallsme" ... thank's a lot to be there to help people !

... another info :  he told me he had a 7 years old son named Mike ;-)  ... and work on a construction project in Nigeria ... On Badoo Facebook, there was some pictures too !!!  From him and his son !!!  ... if they really exist, as my friend said.  Because all these messages and textos and emails can be send mechanically ...

Sounds to me like the guy that contacted me only he was using a different name, all the photos he uses are stolen from Facebook & my space, he also had a 7 year old son, & he had a construction contract in Nigeria.  He said he was orginally from Ohio.  I did research & this guy whom he claimed he is, there is one in Ohio, but he's not working in Nigeria.  These are men set up in Internet Cafes
contacting lonely women from, dating sites, telling you what you need to hear & that he is a man from God, They'll tell you how much they love you,site unseen, believe me I fell for it.  There is also a site listed on here from someone that tells you how to recognize these type of scammers, before you start to believe in them.
If you talk to him long enough he will either ask you for money, want to send you checks to cash which are FAKE & if you run them through your bank account you will be liable for the money that you've sent him through Western Union.  They will also try to buy items from people selling cars, trucks etc. but they want you to send them money first for shipping & then they'll pay you for the vehicle. They also use animals or anything else trying to sell to you to get money.
They have a huge racket going on & if you go back several pages for a couple of years on this site reading what different people have posted it will educate you.  
Where on Face book did you find his photos, I'd like to look at them to see if it is the same, using a different name.  I know the one that contacted me has 4 different profile names, I sure wish the Nigerian Government would stop this, there has been lots of money sent over there from lonely men & women looking for love, once they get your money, they stop contacting you, especially if they know you know you were scammed.  If I can answer any of your questions please reply back I check this site often.

I was trying to buy puppies from a lady calling herself Lina White. We started emailing back and forth and the more and more emails she sent the stranger things sounded so I googled her Email address (Linawhite32@hotmail.com)and it come up with her and all these scams she was running. Well she texted me from this number 92466501 this morning saying I need to send her the money so she could send the puppies, so I lied to her and told her I would be coming to NY in 4 days so I would just pick up the puppies so I knew she wasnt scamming me and she got really mad at me and was being very rude because she knew that I wasnt falling for her lies. The odd thing is in her emails everything made since an I could read them but when I got the texts I couldnt understand what she was trying to say and it was like English wasnt her fist language.

This guys name is Sigala Fizz its says it at the beginning of all his text messages.
