I have been sending texts back and forth with a man who claims to be in Syria serving under the British Army.  He contacted me through Match.com and immediately asked me to delete my profile.  We also chat on Yahoo! Messenger, which seems to be okay so far, but he says he cannot call out for security reasons.  He has sent me several photos via email, and I sent him a care package that had to first go to the UK. (I am assuming where he is stationed out of.)  He claims a courier had to be sent to Syria to deliver this package and he supposedly is sending the courier to where I live to deliver a package to me with his service uniform and other stuff.  I have been pretty cautious about what I tell him, but I am freaked out about what/who will show up at my door with this "package".  I was hoping it was a real "match", but after reading this stuff, I am getting my self ready for "war"!  Also, I have the "courier's" email address so we can keep all this straight.  I am not a stupid person, but some of it sounds pretty promising.   Could it be I am the lucky one here, or am I going to sign something that screws with me for life?  Or worse, get kidnapped because I have blonde hair and blue eyes???????? (That was just some humor for myself because I'm totally freaked now!!)  There doesn't seem to be any "holes" in what he has been telling me, but he is very distant at times.  He showed me himself on a web cam for a few seconds claiming he wasn't suppose to be doing it at the base.  It was blurry.  Go figure.  Any tips?  Cautions?  Please feel free to butt in!!  THANKS!!

It was a scam!  His "courier" asked me to wire him $3500.00 to get thru customs.  He goes by frank wilson.  A real dirt bag!!

This man found me a dating site. Name is Richard chase it is a fraud ...he asked me for money talked about marriage. Was from the states but working in Africa...texts came from this number...I knew it was when he asked me to send him money because his money was tied up in a Bank and he was employed by Shale,,,,when I called his bluff he became irate and started calling me names ....then texted me later sayin I love I think he thought he was texting another person  he was scamming.  He even sent poems he said he wrote from the heart and another man sent the same poems...it's a group of scammers preying on women and men in the states........ Think this could be dangerous....BEWARE

Don't know if the other contact info will help anyone or not.

This number has been texting my mother after she was caught up in a scam to wire money. She lost thousands of dollars where she was the middle person to wire incoming money sent to her and then she would wire it back out to people all over the world (mostly in the UK, Nigeria or India).

She was befriended on Facebook playing one of those slot games by a Bill J Wilshere Sr. He is not what he claims to be be and promised riches and prizes in some type of lottery if she continued to send money for him and pay the fees.

They also referenced something like 'Empowermnet4deafs'. This is supposedly some lottery to help deaf people but its not.

I signed up and didn't need to enter any credit card info. Actually met a nice guy on there... I don't know anything about the Spamming

this number has called me claiming to be  MILITARY  man and wanted me to send him money when i told him to stop scamming me he threatened my children, he claims his name is chris bowen in kuwait. i met him on a dating web site. it makes me angrty these kinds of people use our troops to try and scam people.

I was contacted by this guy who calls himself Gerald Peter from date hookup online dating site, he wanted to talk more effectively by going to yahoo instant messenger. After the 2nd conversation, he told me that he was in another country doing contract work and that his credit cards was not working, and that he had not ate anything so far, but what the workers had given to him in from that country. I asked him why would he go to another country unprepared, his reply was that he didn't think that his credit cards would not work while being there, and he did not have any way of getting any cash. He said the contract  owner who he was working for would not give him any money until the job was half done. He wanted me to send him some money to get him through until his job was half way complete. I immediately told him that he was full of it and that his scam was weak, and for him not to contact me anymore.

I have a similare situation. The mother was from england and the father he dose not talk to. Meet him on a dating site.  This guy says he is in the military. (army) have pictures of him. Says he is stationed in Afganistan. Started asking for money.  Do not talk to this guy!

Yep it's still happening... This time it's a supposed marine named Mathew walden Glenn .   He even has a Facebook page.    I'm thinking he's dead, which makes me even more sick!  I called him out on the scam.... He got really pissed!  Lol. I'm gonna make this a hobby of mine to screw with these blood suckers!!!!!

I received the same number 92466501 form a woman calling herself betty.love4 from yahoo says she from Arizona and in school and want me to buy her a cam for her computer because she love me.

these scams are coming from African nations India and the UK they have been scamming us for years like roaches and the government dose nothing just look at how the use grammar and you can tell they are not Americans they think we are all fools

Yeah this is really crazy it happend to me twice and my wife looked at my phone and it was all kinda sexual stuff she felt some kinda way and it wasn't good so whoever you are STOP!!!!!!!

Your conyact sound much like mine was in 2011.   Her name is "Sharlon Andrew, with a son named Max.   She always starts off asking for $150 to 300 dollars, and then the sum goes up.   I was scammed too.   My business and myself personally suffered because she represented herself as a wholesale Importer of marble, granite, porcelain, mother-of-pearl and ornate pieces,   I hope you can make a recovery.
