I want to know if this is a legit phn number

I had a friend tell me he was receiving threatening texts from a person with this 92466502 number and he wanted to know if I knew how to find out who it was. He said it was a text from a yahoo id. I don't know much about texting on yahoo so I signed into my account and decided to learn more. I texted myself an sms message from the yahoo messenger to see what number came up and it was this 92466502 number. I then google searched the number and came to this forum. I'm guessing it's a standard number that is used as a gateway connection. Try sending yourself an sms message and see what number shows up on yours, chances are it'll be 92466502. If that's the case, there is no single person texting from that number but multiple people and pinpointing an individual would be next to impossible unfortunately.

I was on match.com when a girl started IMs to me.  Said she lived in Ghana but her profile said she lives in texas.  She told me her name is Mary.  Then she wanted to go to yahoo and IM from there. So far nothing threatening

i got a message from some broad in west nigeria africa with the same number

this number keeps texting me, asking for money, to be sent to Nigeria, goes my the name Nany Felix, He/she will not give up, started chatting with this person after being on Match.com

How do I stop this scum from texting my number?

These people are a scam and a crook, don't deal with them

As of Dec 18 2011, the aforementioned solutions do not work. The short code simply replies by saying that it can not understand the request.

The solution now is to reply to that person sending you the unwanted text messages. Just type in "block" and it will prevent that user from contacting you ever again.

I met this guy on match.com (Wilfred Peters) and he uses this number to text me. It sounds vary similar to the person who reported him as a romance scammer. He asked me for money yesterday via Yahoo IM and got very angry when I refused. He is clearly nuts and not who he says he is because his story does not add up. He claims he is in Thailand and freaked out when I asked for a picture from there w/ the 2 kids he claims to have.

When people send messages from their yahoo to a cell phone do they all have the same # 92466502? or do they have different ID #'s.

The person is some loser that either lived behind bars, is a computer hacker, or has mental problems. Verizon is not willing to do anything. I can't wait to find this loser!!!!

I get.texts.from the number 92466502 and it says from larahills.

This is scam, using a company name Shopping viewpoint - they try to send you a check for a large sum of money and then have you to deposit the money in your bank account complete your task as a secret shopper and send the remaining funds back to someone in Great Britian. Don't be fooled!!! It is the biggest SCAM out there, I have reported them to the FBI.

We are tired of it and we know who you are stop pretending.  Why are you threatening Baldwin just for love?  What's wrong with you?  We have have been receiving numerous love text messages on our cell phones and home phones too.  This person name is Michael Gentzkow and he call Baldwin 30 times everyday with 011-5492974770974 and we recently received a 011-5722974780988.  I think you are an insane who call everybody almost 60 times a day. It's not funny!

Who the hell is 92465502?  Why does he text me just 5 minutes ago and said, "I want to have sex with you on my cell phone?

Why I call him back and he/ or she doesn't talk to me.
