This number tried to make a deal with me over craigslist. i told him/her to call me and they did. it was short brief and sketchy. it is a scam. they wanted me to send my computer to nigeria. they sent fake emails and everything saying the money was transferred but it was not. DO not contact the f***ing sick person. he has a voice changer and everything. it sounded like a woman when i was called

I received the name messages from this guy he calls himself Chris. He says he's in love with me.
I've never met him, and claims he lives in Nashville.

I met this guy on Match, and he sends me texts messages from that number.  He says he loves me and all this other kind of stuff.  He asked for money and I told him didn't have any.  He is still texting and chatting on Yahoo Messenger.  Says his wife was killed in a car accident 5 yrs ago, and he has a daughter.  Says he lived in IL, and moved to Nashville, he works for the government and is on an assignment in Africa. Calls himself Chris.

Hi, I met him on Match too, and he asked me for money, going by the name Christopher Griffith.
I am glad I checked out this number....  Boy, is he a romancer, puts on the charm, and more... said his wife was killed, and he has a daughter.  Did he tell you that too?

hey , i have gotten the same thing and sad to say this is my dads wife, she messaged me say "hi hoe" she is just a big problem with in my family. she has also started with my dads sister, and she thinks we are stupid. when i recieved that messaged it was as so : nravert: hi hoe. her name is nicole ravert and they live in jersey, and she does have a husband. if you know of any information please tell me. she wants to just talk sh** but be sneeky, i cant believe they did it to you also. please email me if you know anything aliciadesa16@yahoo.com thank you.

romance scammer

This guy emails me and text me, He post ads on CL for jobs. From reading post about him I know he is involved in Match.com and Craigs List. along with Yahoo messenger and AOL messenger.  This guy or girl has used many names. Mark Daniel is the most recient but with in days it will be changed. THERE is one thing that has linked him and it is this number.  Despite changing his name and email and IM he has continued to use this number for over 3 years and scammed people with it. The key to cathing him is tracing this number. The problem is this number is probably under a fake name as well.  any idea's on how to trace these numbers

IF this person from this number knows anything about you it is most likely from a facebook, myspace, or dating sight. I could be from your information on your Yahoo Chat. This guy is also on CraigsList. If you applied for a job or inquired about buying something on CL it could have been him. If you sent your resume about a job it could have been to him and that is how he knows your INFO.

This guy or girl is a scammer. He currently goes by Mark Daniel but has used HUNDREDS of fake names. He signs up for hundreds of dating or social network sights and screws with 1000s of people. He may bother you for a day or a month. He may be dangerous.

The FBI is invstigating him but since he uses fake names it is very hard. Avoid Him. To help the FBI please leave any information you have. If he has talked to you please leave all info possible. Tell us if it was on match.com or craigslist.com or where. tell us what name he used, where he said he was from, how old he said he was, and anything he said about himself.

I had the same thing happen to me from a local dating site, he found my profile and started emailing me about how his wife died 5 years ago in a car accident and has a 7 year old daughter Vera. He says he is in Africa and gets robbed at gun point and if they dont give them what they want they are going to kill his daughter. So he contacts me on my Yahoo messanger- asking for money and when i refused to give him money he wanted my address so that he could send me a check and send him money back. I was no fool and didnt surrender any of this information. Yet it is scary to think there are people out there that are trying to weasel there way into your personal information. I feel that this guy is using dating sites to access vulnerable people and scam them into giving up personal information. I hope that the FBI catches this guy soon...

Yup he's an idiot... and didn't get me ;).... I'm not that dumb... oh yea wait he's still messaging me assuming I (really) sent him 2900 western union... what an idiot.. wait is it john Clark? Or mark boom? I mean ur name changes daily.. what is it today .. and first of all when u sell an item used for 1200 and u can buy it brand new for 3000 and u receive a fake check for 4200 wanting u to take 1300 and western union the remainer 2900 to your (shipper) ...ur either a complete idiot or wait a complete idiot!!!!.I didn't calm for it nor did ur so called bank .. and the police enjoyed ur emails and texts begging/harassing me for the western union info. And one more thing I thought was hilarious when u try to scam someone u may want to research first... u ask me to cash the check and 1 then state ur shipper will pick up the western union funds and get ur shipment by 230 ...right because ur shippers only a couple states away... unless they have a means of transportation that can travel 20+ hours in 1 hr they'd never make it... bahahahaha did u enjoy the game...? I had a girl that I got a Myspace message from, who I ended up emailing her then she started calling my cell phone from this number, she said she was living in Nigeria but was raised in Brazil...anyone else have the same deal.
