    Received same call (I am a physician). Said he was from the US Dept of Health and Human Services and was calling to "preauthorize (me) for a medical service." Obviously made no sense even if I was able to understand him through his heavy East Indian accent. I almost wanted to stay on just to hear the scam but hung up

    Caller asked me about receiving medical compensation money and if I were Diabetic. The person sounded from India.  Definitely trying to get personal information, but didn't give any and hanged the phone on him.
