this person apparently has a gifff for mem and i dont want it what if its a BOMB!!

I got a yellow postcard in the mailbox stating anonymously, "We have been trying to reach you, we have a housewarming gift for you.  Give us a call @ 941-870-4353  Melanie".

So they clearly don't have my phone number and this is another method of reaching people anonymously.  There's no company name, and Melanie is an I, not a We.  :)

Got another card and ran turned up some search.

The other card is in the style of a Memo.

From:  Mr. Gray, Home Delivery
Subject:  Your Gift

"I have been trying to reach you.  There is a gift waiting for you here.  My hours are 9AM to 9PM, 7 days a week.  Please hurry and give me a call.

The two are clearly connected.  Also, as to location.....

The postmark is stamped MID-FLORIDA PDCFL.

Some deeper digging turned up a location.  He/She is located just on the other side of Route 301 (Washington Ave), on 4th or 5th Street.  These are old low-income housing.

I am saving them to give to the county attorney's office to work with the consumer division.

It's a phishing scam as far as I can tell.

It's a water testing company... found the phone number on Facebook
