My mon was taken for $1500, we have also tried to get ahold of these swindlers in Forest Lake but all we get is busy signals.  We have emailed and faxed but have not heard from them.  I am contacting all of the above agencies that were listed, and I am contacting the program "Morning Joe" on MSNBC since this is where I saw the advertisement. SHAMEFUL!!!!!

Hey guys, my mom is also in the same position $2500 lost. She's now aggravated because she can't get a hold of anyone from there, has anyone heard from anyone? anyone suing yet? I did research on the lake drive center, and based on what I found out, the suite facility is empty.

Geez, I should have read you guys review first, my mom is on the same boat as all of you, lost $2500 just like that. Anyone taking actions, because I sure don't know what the next step is, my research of the lake center dr., was an empty suite facility, I'd like to take the next step to getting my mom's money back, anyone have any suggestions or perhaps heard from the company?

The same exact thing happened to me and my husband. Last September was the last time i was able to speak with anyone from that company. They promised to refund our $2,500 and i never got anything back or even heard from anyone again. I've been trying to call but there is an automated machine saying they are having problems with their phones. File a complaint with the BBB, Federal Trade Commission and CA Attorney General. I don't know if that will help get our money back but at least we can report the company as a scam. We signed a contract and we will try to take them to small claims court as well. I am angry at myself for believing that Quest was a legitimate company.

We also have been scammed... It all seemed right ,I thought it was OK because i got their # off the TV. I hpe they can sleep at night. They will be judged when the time is right. But know we have no money to move and we don't know who to turn to....

I also was taken for $2500 by the Lake Forest branch of Quest Financial Solutions. I just received a call back today from someone with the "real" Quest Financial Solutions" saying that individuals at the Lake Forest office began using the name fraudulently. They are saying that the people that committed this crime are "J. Mattenley Group". They said that they are trying to track down these individuals as well. If you have been defrauded by the Lake Forest office, call 949-225-0635 as they are working with detectives and compiling a list of everyone defrauded. Have you found out anything else?

I also was scam by the company. Drew, Peter, Laura Carlson, Sandy Dimoska and Alex Maldonado were in charge of my loan modification. Any help try to get this individuals I will appreciate.

Jeff M. was the owner of the Lake Forest office and operated under is corp. which is named J Mattingly Group. The lease at that office was under Jeff Mattingly Group. Quest Financial Solutions and the owners allowed Jeff Mattingly to use their RE license for loan modifications and received a Franchise fee per file from Jeff Mattingly Group. The Quest Financial guys where also scammed by Jeff M. and are now trying to say they were not affiliated with the Lake Forest Office. This is not true. Jeff M "took the money and ran" He bounced all payroll to his employees, client refunds, and rent. His bank account was with CHASE bank same as Quest. Jeff M. claims he is broke but it is known he cashed over 110K of client checks the last week of operation in the Lake Forest office. Jeff Mattingly is a very bad person. The employees that worked in the Lake Forest office are not responsible for this. They also were taken from Jeff Mattingly. Everyone needs to contact Edward Haley the owner of Quest Financial Solutions. The contract you signed was under his License.

You are absolutely right! I am a former employee and Lake Center Lending and J. Mattenly Group were are incorporated with Walker Law Group. Then the scam bag attorney of Walker Law Group lost his license for all the fraudulent business' he was running by allowing all these modification companies to use his bar license for a fee of a few hundred dollors per file with no question asked. Then when Walker Law Group shur down, the owner of the Lake Forest office, found another company for licensing purposes called Quest Financial Solutions and then continues their scam

To Whom It May Concern: I was employed by Jeff Mattenley as a Negotiator on July 13th, 2010. Although I was never provided with a contract, the Company came from a reliable source. I was referred to work for these guys by my ex-employer. I was never aware of the scam. Neither me, nor Sandy Dimoska (who I came to replace), nor Laura Carlson, or any other employee in the Company were aware of such fraud. My job was to contact lenders on behalf of clients to pursue loan modifications. It was out of our control to STOP something that was HIDDEN from our eyes!!! We were never aware what was being done and, personally, I too was affected by not getting paid my last 2 1/2 weeks of honest work. I know clients tend to have the wrong assumption we, as representatives of Quest Financial at the time, are part of their scam but, what would you do if all of a sudden your told at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon that "you are dismissed, I can't pay you or continue to do business"...that's all we as employees heard from Mr. Mattenley. On top of not getting paid, now, you throw our names in this sack of muck!!! If I could do anything for the number of people I was working with, TRUST ME, I would do it, but not only was I stuck without a job without notice, I was too taken to the cleaners by NOT getting paid. You judge as your conscience best allows you to. No one but Mr. Mattenley could have stopped this. Mr. Toro, you are one of the blessed people that were scammed. You are a pilot, and yes, you can afford your mortgage payment. You must do right and file a small civil law suit against Quest Financial Solutions and stop trying to discredit affected people.

alex maldonado is one of the most hard working people i have ever had the pleasure of meeting.  Itis a crying shame what has happened to everyone associated with quest, believe me, i am fully aware.  what i cant some to understand is why everyone who got "screwed" acts as though they have seen snow falling in orange county in the middle of july.  i dont agree at all what was done, i have cried about it plenty, but as it is stated over and over on this page, WE SHOULD HAVE NEVER TRUSTED THESE PEOPLE.  I know from speaking with many former clients that people at least had some inkling of an idea that possibly something was wrong...
it is after all a government run agency.  i have a pay check that wont cash as well, at least it is not my home, but my personal feeling upon the matter is if you play with fire you are going to burn.  i could either spend time freaking and finding a way to sue the proper party, or take action.  go out and move on.. get another job.  i just want to know what good it is for any of the employees to put down other peoples information, i don't know what happened.  Has anyone actually spoken with jeff about all accusations, or is it a simple "it was him, the criminal"?
