I got a phone call at 6:30am Saturday morning from a female caller with a heavy foreign accent who said her name is Kathy Brown from the US Treasury.  She refused to let me talked to her supervisor and hung up on me when I asked her if she knew the time.   She and Steve Martin who left us an comprehensive phone message the day before should be prosecute for their scam and annoyance.

Have been getting the same calls as everyone else for the about 3 days. Just got one at 6:55 am on a Sat morning that we picked up hoping to rip the guy a new one, but it is actually just a computer-generated message, not a live person and couldn't even talk to the person. Tried to call back and got a voice mail instead. Of course a scam but annoying as hell. Same message as always from "Steve Martin" in an Indian accent telling us to help him help us, and that the US Treasury is going to put a lien on our belongings if we don't call back. Sure buddy.

Returned this moron's call at 7:15am.  Steve Martin is his 'paralegal'…I spoke with David Brown, ID# 11248.  Played along…asked if they want our SS#, DOB, etc.  He said they don't want anything and that I called him.  I persisted to say that I was returning his call of 6:30am.  He said he is in the legal department, but would not say of what. I asked if he was in India; he said they are in Los Angeles.  I asked for the address; he said 300 North, Los Angeles, CA.  I said there is no 300 North…he hung up on me.

949.734. 5184 called me again today, Saturday at 6:00 am, I ran to the phone, thinking something bad had happened to a family member! I answered the phone, and it was a recorded message form this Martin person with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be form the treasury department! What can I do to stop this invasion of privacy?!!

has called several times  from 949-734-5184.  Same person, same accent.  says his name is Steve Martin, calling about an enforcement action from US treasury.  Says that if I do not cooperate may lead to a warrant in front of a magistrate or as a criminal offense in front of a grand jury.   Scammers all the way.  Magistrate in the U.S.???

Called back and told going to jail for 1 yr. and going before judge.

This bleeping idiot called me again, this time at 5:30am. I get these same phone calls at least twice a day from this same idiot claiming his name is Steve Martin from the US Treasury, stating that if we fail to respond back will resort to a criminal offense and will have to appear in front of a grand jury.  Really now?? This moron is the one who needs to be booked to appear in front of a grand jury. Then throw his '[***]' in the slammer for harassment and threatening phone calls.  

PS. I forgot to mention this same idiot has also been using a different phone number
(760) 298-3949 for the same purpose. (ie. US Treasury scam) that I've also been getting several calls from. So I would suspect he's probably using one of those "throw away" phones.  This guy is a fraud, and needs to be locked up in the slammer to meet "BUBBA". 🙅

I got a call last night from the same person STEVE MARTIN and just now same caller ID I talked to
ALBERT PETER trying to get me scare ,I'm going to jail , and all the other B.S.
They say calling from THE DEPT. OF LEGAL AFFAIRS N.Y city. what a stupid [***] , this area code is from California.
Please some one must find these ass.h.and put them a way.

He;s easy to get rid of. I just gave him my social security and Amex Gold card numbers and I  haven't heard from him again!

I got a call at 5:30am!  When I called back he said there was a warrant for my arrest! He also preceded to say that I have commuted a federal offence!

I got a call from a Steve Martin 949 and a Julie Smith 202. Both saying that I was in trouble with the IRS and needed to call.

This is along the Steve Martin scam... pasted from another post because I forgot the details: "a man with what sounds like a heavy Indian accent calling to inform me of a US Treasury enforcement action (no details - doesn't even know my name) and that this is the 2nd attempt to call me (actually this is the 1st) and that my failure to contact him could result in some sort of criminal offense with action taken against me by the court or US Treasury"

The number was 5623618924.

I called back and got a voicemail, didn't leave a message.  That night, someone tried to hack my facebook account.  I received about 5 texts from facebook saying someone was trying to reset my password.  My question is, what's the end game here?
