usually don't contribute to things like this, but the comments about this number are fairly recent and i just got a call.

didn't answer... so annoying. i'm on the "no call" list, along with everyone else being solicited...

I just got 5 phone calls from this number, everytime I asked to be removed from call list I was hung up on and then called immediately back. After talking to a Heleny and a Leslie and threatening to contact the BBB they stopped calling. Found out they're using a bogus company name and it sounds like they're using a random number generator and using the internet to make these phone calls.

When I asked to be removed they said that they don't use to do not call list so even if you have your number on the federal do not call list that they can and will still call you

Get a call from this number on my cell.  It has come at the same time the past 3 days.  Never a message or voice or sound of any kind.

Recieved multiple calls from this number, never pick up. Called back and said the number was not valid... Can this number be traced somehow?

They always keep calling me, but I never answer because they never leave voicemail, they just call for no reason. I'm not sure what to do about it. Please report this person, I have been told by fellow peers they get called as well.

I got 3 calls farom 949-930-2888.  They were missed calls and it won't let me call them back to find out who it is and what they want.  My Cell # is private only family has it.

Got three calls on my cell phone from this number....same as others...no message left and unable to return call. I thought it was illegal to solicit on cell nos.

I've been getting numerous calls for over 3 days now. The same as many on here, I tried calling back and I got an "invalid number" message. I wanted to be near my phone to pick up when they called again, so I kept it by my side every second of today - When they called back, they asked if I could participate in some sort of survey and if I was over 18. Would the police consider this a valid complaint if I went to them?  I'm getting sick of these people and do NOT want them calling back.

It is my third time to be called by the above #.  First twice, I answered and they hang up.  This time yesterday afternoon: 5:21 PM June 27, 2012 Toronto I did not answer.  They should be reported to the Police.

Even i got the call from this number, but as i was busy did not receive it. No voice msg left.

They've called my cell phone about 10 times today, even after I told them to quit calling.  Don't know who the heck they are.  They hang up on me when I tell them to quit calling.  If I don't answer, they don't leave a voicemail.  I finally figured out I could add the # to the "auto-reject list".  By the way, my cell phone # IS (and always has been) listed on the do-not-call registry.

I just tried calling it back for the heck of it, and got a message "That is not a recognized phone number."  By the way, the message is NOT a phone company message.  It's THEIR message.  It's a total scam.

Next time they call me Im answering "Irving, CA police...what is your emergency"??

then you should say Irvine police - that's where the number is from (Irving is not around here) - but I like the way you're thinking.  I'm going to do the same thing!!!

They called the office, asked to speak to "a truck driver".  We're a landscape company and have guys who drive our trucks, but they're not really "truck drivers".  And there's also no way to transfer a call to them.  So I asked him to clarify what he wanted, he said he wanted to talk to someone about the benefits of diesel engines.  I told him we don't have truck drivers, that I thought he had bad information, and he apologized and hung up.

Lately I've been getting numerous calls from this number 949-930-2888! Whoever it is doesn't leave a voicemail. It needs to stop, NOW!
