My brother's family was harrassed by caller from 915-340-3073 looking fro me and they lied to me. I found out that Brown  & Associates are not registered in State of California as collection agency and have no right to call.I located  a Law Firm who will bring Law suits against collection agencies if they violated your rights. In my case Brown & Asoociates are not a legal entity and cannot be suit. Contact your Distric Attorney's office or Attorney General office as I did to stop them.

Guy called looking for my deceased Uncle, threatened us with a $500 fine if we did not cooperate.  These guys need to be shut down--clearly violators of the FDCPA.  Hang them high!

Guy called up threatening to sue, threatening to repo my cars, saying I could settle now or the sheriff would be delivering a summons next week.

Said that I owed thousands for a 1994 charge.

One number was from Boca Raton another from Corona CA.

He was good, real good, and quite hostile.

He said he could email me the letter, but I had to settle TODAY. He sent a email from David Brown [brownandassociates1@ymail.com].

I was called and harassed about old credit card bills, by a guy named John frown Brown and Assoc

They called and left a message, so I called back because the name was not someone we knew.  He refused to tell me any info because my husband's name was on the account and became quite hostile telling me that it was obviously my husband's gay lover.  I don't even have words to describe how I feel right now.

I received a call today in Massachusetts at my home asking about my daughter.  I asked what it was in regards to, and the woman just kept saying I just want to know if you know her and where I can reach her.  I said I wasn't giving any information.  She continued to press me, and I responded that it was none of her business.....her response was SHOCKING....she said "Ok you little b**ch let's see how you feel when the sherriff shows up at your door with a summons!"  She then hung up.
I called back and asked to speak to a manager, his name was Mr. Masters.  He was very vague about what the business was, didn't immediately want to give me their mailing address, and when I told him what the person said he said they would take immediate administrative action, but he couldn't tell me what.  All sounded very fishy to me!!
When I discovered that there are lots of other people being harassed, I've decided to take them on!  I am going to contact a friend at the FTC and seek advice.  I am thinking that these people have a list of charged off debt, and bully people into paying and pocket the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

WOW!  Maybe you should post what you said as well.  All you people who want to post what was said from a number and how bad you were treated by a company. What did you say to provoke them? Are you really the angel in all this?

I received a telephone call from a person saying that they were  a Collection Agency from "Broan & Associates", 1655 E. 6th St., Suite AD-4, Corona, CA  92879 from telephone # 951-340-3073.  They threatened to take me to court if I didn't pay an old credit card.  They are harrassing me.   I searched this phone number in the internet and it shows that this is not a legimate business, it's a fraud.  People need to be aware of this problem.   Never give out any information like:  bank account number, social security number, or credit card numbers.     They almost convinced me and I was going to send them money.  Thanks to my research on the internet, I found out that it's a scam!
