I had a voicemail on my work phone this morning and it stated that the very second you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney to return the call it is extremely time sensitive. If you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney, the only thing I can do is proceed with the lawsuit and the whole thing unfolds on you. I called back until I reached someone and his name was Kevin Peperson and wanted to know what number I was calling from and when I would not say he wanted my name but I did not tell him my name because his office called me and and I asked for the  person that called which was Michelle Lewis he didn't tell me to hold on but was having a conversation with someone in the background and he never let me speak to her but again wanted to know what number I was calling from and I said my work number, he said I needed to contact my sheriff's office and I needed a lawyer because of pending charges against me but not what they were, he then hung up...I don't know what to make of this call, never heard of this one because they called me @ my work number..............HELP

same call from 951-489-0224 telling me they have legal action against me called the number and asked what is the name of this company and they said they do not give out that information,told the Indian speaking man you work for a company and do not know the name and he hung up on me. This is a scam wish I could track these freaks down. I deceded to call their number all day and harass them as well

I recieved a call from this number, and like alot of other people I could not get a hold of the person trying to call me . It was a computer generated voice and didn't give much information except that it was a legal matter and I sould call them back.

I just recieved a call from 951 489 0224.  The guy spoke with an accent and did not give me his name.  He asked if i had been contact reference a pending legal matter and i said no.  He said "oh my gosh" and that my attorney or i needed to call 951 489 0224 and ask for Kevin Peterson.  I noted the number was the same number and even though i was suspicious i called back.  It took me several times but i did get ahold of him.  He also spoke with an accent and i could hear several people in the background.  He informed me that i had violated three laws, they were internet fraud, check fraud and defrauding a company online.  (something like that) I asked who he worked for and he stated the law firm of Jennifer Young in San Fran, CA.  He sated the charges were to be filed at 5pm today in CA and that would be 11am my time.  (The time difference was not correct.)  I asked what it was based on and he said a loan i recieved on line from Cash Advance.  I stated i had not recieved a loan from them and he stated they were a company that represented other companies.  He stated he did not know the exact company or the exact amount.  Stated for me to hold and he would talk to someone to see if there was a way i could take care of it.  He got back on and stated if i paid 845 by 11am that would take care of it.  Stated it would be 2200 after 5pm.  Requested me to go to Wal Mart and get two prepaid cards since the limit was 500.  I asked several questions and he started to get short with me.  He stated if i did not call back in an hour than the charges would be initiated.  Stated after i paid the amount i would recieve personel notification from their agent with the paperwork that it was resolved.  It was all very concerning, but after researching the number and assessing the information i feel comfortable with stating it is a scam.

ok so I just received the same call this morning from the 951 number ~ Same information that everyone else has been stating is exactly what was said to me...and I asked him why are you telling me about some charges if I can't ask questions and of course he got short with me and told me to deal with the sheriff when he comes to lock me up.  These people must be really bored or STUPID...I am glad that I have enough sense to google information before I react but some people don't have the access like I do and they may be prey to these scams.  There is got to be something we can do to stop this nonsense...Is there an app that will shoot people through the phone???

Got a call from some one with a heavy accent stating I was in legal ntruble. I had take a pay day loan for 30.00 , Caller Sd I ned to be in CA today 9/19/2011 unless I would be arrested with in 72 hrs. Try to get more info from him  but was extremeloy rude on the tele.

Also got a call (did not answer) he is using the name Michael Johnson also stating that I need a lawyer.

I got a call from 9514890224 from "Michelle", requesting that I call her back or my atty call her back.  If I did not call her back all she could do was "wish me luck as my situation unfolds".

Michelle Lewis not only called my cell phone but also my workplace.  This is too much.  I called number back and just got a "Hello" and then "this mailbox is full".

Don't call them back, I got the same phone call, it's a scam...I'm still having phone calls from different numbers saying the same thing! They'll continue to call you once you respond on your personal phone and at work if they have that information. I had a similar phone call from a heavy accented india or pakistan man who said his name was Paul Anderson and then Eric Williams, Now it's a different man with another accent named Bryan Shelton. Now this morning at 3am I got a voicemail from a heavy accented woman saying exactly what Paul Andersons voice message said the first time I got a call like this. "it's a legal matter, complaints are being filed against you, don't disregard this message, and god bless, or good luck in this matter." Oh please! They're all asking to fax them a letter stating I would pay an online loan that supposedly was deposited into a bank account. They ask you to get a prepaid debit card and to let them know when they are able to get the money out. Check with your bank and your bank statements. We found nothing that was deposited electronically. I closed my account. He had my last four digits of my SSN and name and location where I worked. Google their name and number...you'll see a lot of these posts. File a complaint with the FTC and and the IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center). And don't answer their calls, they'll continue to call you. I get them every other day. I googled this number to see what it was all about and here it is!!!

Yeah i got this same call yesterday, once i mentioned i was reporting them to the FCC and alerting the authorities he hung up, havent heard from them since

They called me this morning. I was sleeping and felt my phone vibrating and realized I didn't know this number.  I answered and was told I had all of the same charges the rest of you have been saying and that I needed to called this other number to get more information on these chargers. I called this guy back, and I was told not to interupt him while he explained the chargers.  However, he did not explain very thoroughly and when I asked him to explain more he got [***] and asked "are you stupid?" They then proceded to tell me that they would be at my house tomorrow to show me case papers. I was outraged. I'm only 20 years old, and I was scared to death that something legit was going on.  I called the local police and explained what had happened, and they informed me that it was most likely a scam.  After reading all these posts, I feel a lot better knowing that I am not alone. I called them back and said, "You called me earlier.  I know you're a scam, and I have reported you." They hung up right after that.  These people are ridiculous! How can you call innocent people and harrass them like this?! It's not right at all

Same thing just happened to me and nearly gave me a heart attack.  Indian guy with heavy accent that was very rude.  Wouldn't tell me any details of the supposed case and told me that I would be arrested tomorrow at the workplace.  I'm glad I googled the number and found out it was a scam.

the very same message appears from a caller named micheal johnson.and he says that i am being sued for a cash advance i didn't pay.there is no such advance ..what do you advise???

micheal johnson has called my cell about 5-6 times in the last few days.about this fictisish cash the number is loan.that i never recieved..951-489-0224.i would appreciate this stopped soon..
people don't need to report someone for nothing needed or otherwise..i never took out a cash advance from cash advance ,i have gotten a few others recently,but no one i would appreciate people not threating me like that..i haven'[t been asked to pay anything yet..but i still believe it's not legal by no means..advize..
