I did just today and I called the number and keeps disconnecting on me.

I have been called by this number, it is a man with an Indian accent who tells me he wants my attorney information because there are criminal fraud charges against me and a warrant for my arrest for fraud.  He has even made claims that he is a police officer and that the charges will all go away if I send $445:  This isnt a debt collector, it is a scam.  I haven't taken out any short term loans of any kind

Yes it's a scam.   Someone foreign and then call the number back another scammer that says all types of obscene language, when you tell him they are scamming!  Don't be afraid of telling them that they are a fraud/scammer!   Oh yes the one with the language spoke English!!!! Not a foreigner!

I recieved tha same call from a guy who left a message on my phone sayin if i do not return his call all he can do is wish me luck..I hate that they have my work number too!!!

i just got the same thing. gave me my ss# my address, my everything. saying i was gonna be arrested in 30 min.

he also gave me this bogus case# mw3396chodu

i just cld david cooper bk. indian dialect. sez i will be arrested for not paying back a payday loan, sent to california for the prosecution and whole bunch of mumbo jumbo. bs if u ask me. i'm waiting on sheriff

I'm getting calls from someone who very badly speak english and telling me, I need a attorney, because I have a lawsuit against me, then asking me for personal information.
I blocked they number and filed a complain.

I have been getting these calls from 951-263-2529, 951-489-0225, 951-489-0226 and text from 600-500-0015. I have been told it is a scam.   If you are or have received these calls please notify your local FBI and FTC 1-877-FTC-HELP.  The people (not the term I would like to use) have not only your info but possibly your ss #.  One of the recent calls left on my voice mail states my ss#.  Also looking around the internet it seems to be cricket phones that are getting the calls?  Contact cricket and let them know.

Funny i keep calling and harassing them telling them they are frauds, the same idiot answers the phone and calls me by name saying that he will call my job tomorrow, What worried me is that they had my cell number which is a pay as you go, but if they bought my info, i guess it makes sense.  I want these [***] to go down...

same thing happen to me . what i did is make a compliant with IC3.gov
if u heard of it make a compliant with them.

I am the daughter of the "victim." They called my mother early in the morning at her work site. The mesage on her cell phone was " you need to have attorney representation immediately to settle some 'matter' or dire consequences wil ensue' - slightly paraphrased.  Since my mother is a caregiver, I believe the message affected her and her patient in a sudden negative way until the con was exposed. Upon listening to the voicemail the scheme seem to fall apart within a few seconds of their feeble attempt.They were so stupid it seems humorous now.

same thing just happen to my wife  they say we owe 200 from an internet cash loan. its a scam.
some guy called me with a threat that i was going to go to jail  and that they were going to send the local sheriff to my house to send me to CA. i hope the FBI catches these people. they have an indian accent.

These [***] called my job and asked for me and told my employer that I owe them money and said that they were the sheriff officer and wanted my attorney info. I called them back and told them if they have my info and address come and get it I will be waiting. He got mad and started talking trash to me so I said I will be here come and get it so I can fix that accent lol. When they call make them mad.

I had two calls today and my husband had one and it was a guy with indian accent. Said I owed american cash advance money, never used them. He had my social #, bank acct info and routing number also would send a subpoena to my work. I well be taking your advice and file a complaint, plus I checked the local case website and there is nothing.

Just got a call from this number.  The first time was this afternoon on my job, I started questioning him and he gave me a number to call which I did not.  It is now 8:10 and they called me again.  He got mad because I started questioning him again and them hung up.  This guy sounded like an African

this number called me the other day saying i was being sued they called me at work and on my cell

I got a call on Friday and he cussed me out after I told him I knew he was messing with me.  He called me at work.  I work at a police department but I guess he didn't know that. After he told me the Sheriff was coming to get me I told him 'Great! its his turn to pay lunch this time.'  I told him he called a police department and he smirked and laugh. Then he used inappropriate language. Very entertaining...

Thanks for the help with this  was hard to understand this dips**T. Will follow the advice.
