- murphymooTelemarketer for one of the search engine optimization companies. What was exceptionally annoying was the leading-questions type sell: "Can your company handle a little extra business?"
- Caller: who knows!?
- BrianReceived call around 2:35p today from this number. I don't answer calls rom unknown area codes (especially if not local). Whoever called held on long enough for this to record something on my voice-mail. All I heard was someone saying "another one" in the background.
- Caller: N/A
- BHCalled and asked if I was still into network marketeting or online sales? I then asked what may I do for him and he simply hung up. Do not provide them with any information. I have reported them to the Internet Crime Complaint Center. More people should be aware of this agency.
- JasonThey called me and left a msg asking if I was taking on anymore personal training clients.
- AngieThey called and spoke to me about marketing my company. I am happy to say that I signed up with them and love the exposure I am getting. Everything they say that they do has been true. I am so happy with my service. They are VERY professional and courteous. Thank you eBoost!!!
- CharlesI thought at first that this was another one of those calls. Normally I would have hung up but I know that my brother-in-law uses a service like this so I listened to what the guy had to say. I had to talk it over with my wife and needless to say we signed. They say it takes two weeks but surprisingly I was up in a little over a week and I am on the top portion of Google.
- Not a foolI almost ended up working for them, but as a person looking for an ethical sales job (and getting increasingly discouraged that they exist)I have to vet every job offer, especially when they're saying you can make thousands per week. A simple Google search revealed this site and others saying they are a scam. I have since learned more about SEO services and found there are some very bad people out there doing "black hat" (hacker) techniques to drive traffic to websites. It seems great at first, then you end up getting banned from Google. Eboost is new, so of course they don't have a record of this, but it's a fairly common scam. Some business owners have gone bankrupt from dealing with companies like this. Could Eboost be legit? I suppose there's a possibility, but I learned enough to be suspicious and turn them down. As for the people who posted they are satisfied customers, it's quite common for scam businesses to have employees rebut online complaints. Make of that what you will.
- CSautereBoostMedia- took the money(5/12/08) and never delivered as of 6/18/08-
posted on RipOff. - JimJust got a call from one of their sales guys pitching their services. Trouble is, I have worked in the SEO industry for 8 years, so the first thing I did was look for their website. Its actually not currently working... eboostmedia.com. It looks like a redesign gone bad. They do have a local version eboostlocal.com that has about a total of 10 businesses listed in it. Frankly, if an SEO company cant even do their own SEO right, they certainly cant be trusted with mine.
- Caller: EBoost Media
- LensieDo a google search using "eBoost media fraud voicemail", check out the link about the name calling: disgusting voicemail these scammers left for a disgruntled customer.
Please note that google will tell you that this service does NOTHING.
The "happy customers" above are clearly eBoost trolls. They are known to defend their company at every complaint. Truth is, they are not only scammers but will crank call you with profanity if you complain.
Also of note, their phone service is down and their support email address is bouncing today.- Caller: eBoost Media
- Carl WothingTheir BBB record is a D. I checked these fella's out. It's funny how they either come on as employees defending their shady practices or pretend to be customers.
That whole calling a customer thing above was hilarious. This company uses the F word, then calls him the f word for gay. Unbelievable. - Angry consumerIf you go to the ripoff report website you'll find out just how deceptive this scam company is. Notice that someone pretending to be a satisfied customer under the "REECE" account raves about them. Then, an employee named "Teresa" responds, but OOPS! She forget her browser remembered the "REECE" account, so Teresa, the employee, posted in the same account as the made up satisfied customer.
There are no satisfied customers. There are only made up responses by the company like the unbelievably sugary sweet ones posted here. And they are as fake as their stupid mistake on ripoff report proves. - MikeI got a call from theitembassy.com they offered me a beautiful website youtube infomercials, buisness cards and a full on Search engine optimization for less then $99 beats every company I know
- Caller: theitembassy.com
- Mikevegaswindshield.com this is the site they built for me for under $99
- Rodger WabbittThey called me and I signed up on June 13, 2008. Two payments later ($99 plus $159) I still have no results. My perception is they never even tried to set me up to be on the the front page of Google and Yahoo. It is a scam. My bank is working on trying to reverse the charges. Please type in EBoost Media in any search engine to see all the complaints. EBoost is the most popolar company on the web at this time. It is a shame it is all negative. Does anybody have something to say good about them?
- Caller: EBoost Media Inc.
- Not StupidHahaha, what a coincidence, not one but two posts with links basically advertising their service. Typical employee plants.
More from the ripoff report. The "customer" and "employee" responded five days apart, yet here is their illiterate response. FIVE DAYS. I'm sure it didn't "accure" to the person who called them on this that it was the same time, because it wasn't. LIARS.
First of all, ANYONE is welcome to visit our office. Second, Jon, did it ever accure to you that Reece is my good friend/customer and we BOTH rebuttled at the same time from my computer on my account. I think people just like to get caught up in something they are not 100% sure of, eBoostMedia is not a scam, we are not located up in the mountains in a trailor somewhere that we can take peoples money and run. Our company is very large. We put people through a 3rd party verifcation that is recorded, the customer has the right to agree with the terms or disagree during the 3rd party verification. I take this personal because I would not work for a company that does anything unethical. I am a Christian woman and take pride in what I do and where I work. We help people prosper in their business, we have many clients that are very happy and satisfied.
I wonder how many of you have got complaints in the business you do...I am sure everyone has.
We never stated that we are a perfect company, I have yet to find one in any indusrty.
From,
TERESA & REECE- Caller: eBoost Media
- Savvy ConsumerConsumers, Please note: The Better Business Bureau has now lowered eBoost Media's rating to an F!
"We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices. "- Caller: eBoost Media
- Pissed CustomerTotal SCAM - good job guys...let's get them shut down!!! They provide nothing but hot air.

- joseph blackburni own a roofing co. I can absolutely tell everyone that it is true, EBOOST IS A CON. Whoever "Reece & Teresa" are, they are committing fraud, & when these people are found, will go to jail. Luckily, they only took $159.00. i cancelled my credit card immediately & reported fraud. They are being investigated. DO NOT TAKE CALLS FROM ANYONE WHO IS OFFERING ADVERTISING ON THE INTERNET EVER!! I F YOU DO, YOU DESERVE TO GET RIPPED OFF. So, learn your lesson, the crime rate on the internet is exploding! use only legitimate companies like home depot, sears, Nordstrums etc., ALSO- THESE ARE OTHER EBOOST PHONE #'s THAT DO NOT EXIST; 888 389 0532. / 949 698 6706 / 951 734 3305. These were supposed to be customer service numbers or employee numbers. They are not. beware of people at eboost calling themselves "norma", "jan", "chad rhodes". Beware- Eboost is a non existent company.
- Mike NE-Boost Media is the worst kind of rip-off artists. They make false promises and give no written contract or guarantee their work in writing. DO NOT HIRE THEM YOU WILL GET HOSED! (That is their business) THEY WILL NOT GET YOU TO THE TOP OF THE SEARCH ENGINES USING ORGANIC SEARCH OPTIMIZATION LIKE I WAS PROMISED, THEY DO NOT USE THAT METHOD OF SUBMISSION.
They signed me up on July 9, 2008 and said that they would have me up and running within 7-10 days with a custom video for the Real Estate industry. However, they did not start work on properly collecting my search words until July 30th. My Google submission did not happen until August 4th. Up and running in 7 to 10 days? My foot!
I had left E-Boost Media several voice messages in late August that I was not happy with their "service" and that I wanted to stop paying them. Well, no calls were returned, and when I finally got a hold of Dinette (if that is her real name) on September 9, I told her I was unhappy and I asked to see where my listing was on the Internet. It turns out that they had placed a E-Boost Media video clip attached to my listing, not a 'real estate' video clip as I was promised. To make matters worse, to see the clip I had to do a Yahoo search and click on "Maps" to show up at all. WHAT A SCAM!
Also on September 9, I was promised by Dinette an additional 10 days of service without billing to make up for the first 21 days that e-Boost Media did nothing (other than BOOST my money). After the promise was made I was hurried off the phone by Dinette.
On September 12, After I called Dinette to end the "service" , she offered me16 days of no billing and a reduction of monthly fees of only $79.00 down from the regular price of $159.00. Did I take it? HELL NO, these people are liars, scammers, and crooks!
Today on September 22, I received a bill by email from linkpt.net for $159.00 in monthly charges. When I called e-Boost to complain I was told that bill was for charges on September 9,. When I asked about the 10 days of compensation that I was promised on September 9, I was told by Dinette that she had no record of that conversation. Hmm, imagine the nerve of these people! E Boost Media is a bunch of LYING Rip-Off Artists!
When I told Dinette that E-Boost Media had no contract and that I had already disputed the charges with my credit card company, she appeared to care less and was confident that they would get my money anyway. Did I mention E Boost Media is bunch of scum sucking Rip-off artists?
