this is my oinion..if it is a credit comany, I fell that you would be able to get back with the person or company because they want there money. I have heard that some of these calls are people that ry toi get your information or not sure how to say this, but when you answer your phone tjhey can cut into your line some how and  then call any place in the world and it goes on your phone bill. I just never answer them. I have caller ID which does not cost that much at all, and if I do not recognize the area code or the number I just refuse to answer. It usually means it is a telemarketer or some one who needs money. If I choose to buy something or need to buy something I will go to the store and buy it in my home own to make sure that the person who works at that store keeps there job. Keep jobs going in your area.

I also receive calls from this #. With research, I discovered that the lovely government passed a law legalizing solicitation on cell phones. Any company can buy the rights to 100's of phone #s at their disposal, allowing them to activate a # to call you, then deactivate it at the time they hang up. Their computer system randomly picks out a phone # to use until all are used up, then it starts from the beginning again. I'd be willing to bet that most of you probably got a text at one time or another about a free gift card, or that you won one for $1000. Shouldn't have filled out that questionare. They sold your phone # to a marketing firm. Good luck all!

My Wife keeps getting a call from this number with the same results as others. We have Verizon and they have a free call blocking for 90 days. Call your provider and see what they offer.

Someone needs to disconnect this phone number fast.....

I have received 9 calls from this number in 2 days. Yes, 2 DAYS! Not to mention the numerous calls over the past couple of weeks. I finally became annoyed and answered when they called during lunch today. Thinking perhaps I did not receive a bill in the mail (it does happen). The man on the other line said he was calling regarding supposed requested college information(which isnt true). I informed him that I am enrolled and not looking to be matched with a school. He confirmed that I was not in need of their college search services and the call ended. All that being said, I just received ANOTHER call 14 minutes ago. Either it is the same company or possibly a generic number used by a call center for various companies/services. I do not know.

I do not want these calls and everytime I get one no one ans and its a disconnect number supposedly.  I am also on do not call list for advertisers also

I get this call several times a day.Including when my newborn is trying to nap, seriously want to track it and go get some a55! I call it back and the number is disconnected!

I have recieved numerous calls from this number too. Curiosity, has anyone been looking up stuff of a secret society. No bull?

I have been called 8 times so far in 2 days, I called AT&T and they suggested this:

http://www.donotcall.gov and report them as harassment.

If that does not work call (888) 382-1222

this number 9543954898 keeps calling me and i believe it is nothing but a scam

I got a call from this today and yesterday i think i answered yesterday and it was something about an education thing? And i just hung up after saying uuuh.... and i tried to call this number back today but it didn't work.

you're lucky....they at least left a message.  They just keep calling every hour or so...it's annoying...even for a debt collector.  I have tried to call back, but it just has a fast busy schedule.

how do we getthem to stop its annoying at least say something!! if its disconnect like verizons says then how are they calling from that number??
