Got a text asking "Hi [name] do you still work at [company]?" and the info was correct but they didn't answer when I asked who it was.

I also received a text from this number saying "Hi <my name> do you still work at <my company>?... and they did have the correct info (my name and company).  I didn't reply.

Same story as the others, asked if I worked at a company. Might be using LinkedIn info?

This message from Chinese natural wellness clinic . We accept clients who already have scheduled appointments with us if you would like to schedule an appointment please leave voice message and the phone number which we could contact with you as soon as we could. But if we did receive voice message we might not reply. Thank you very much indeed for understanding

Just received the same text message.

Text received that said "(my name)?"

I replied with "?" but there was no response.

Text asking if business was active. I responded yes.

Received a text asking if I was still the owner of my company's web site...didn't respond.

Got the same text. Asking if I was still the owner of a business I work for. Didn’t reply.

Same as others… a text asking if my business is still active at the moment. Clearly a scam I deleted it and blocked it.

The conversation:

“ Hi. Are you still the owner of Bxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxx?

Me: “Yes.  How may I help you?”

“ Hi! It's Mike, I found you on Linkedin.  I'm a business broker and wondering if you ever thought about selling your company now or in the future?

Recently, I helped the owner of a wholesale company sell his business even during COVID with a 4x multiple within 6 months.

We package your business for you with no upfront capital until we close the deal.

I can do a business evaluation for free that can give you a rough estimate of what you can sell for if you're up for it?“

Me: “ No thanks.  Please put me on your Do Not Call/Text list...”

Googled the number and the Department of Justice in Florida came up first.

Must be an international scam.

Like others I got a random text asking if I’m the owner of my company.

Yes I got something similar. Asked my name then told me they found me on LinkedIn and offered some group they wanted me to be part of.
