- Peggi| 1 replyMy husband went shopping for health insurance on the net, and this is the result. They have called 5 times everyday (except Sunday) for the past 2 weeks. I have just ignored them. They leave no message. Finally, first call this morning, I picked up, and got hung up on. Second time, there was a real human on the other end. He was pleasant. I told him that I looked at the website, and we decided that a medical discount card was not right for us. He told me that they are a non profit, blah blah blah, and he could offer me genuine health insurance. I proceeded to tell him unless I could see what programs they had, and options we had, i.e., annual physicals, mamograms, etc., beforehand, I wasn't interested. He told me it was not their policy to reveal that information until they get their 129.85 up front. I said thank you very much. My policy is not to hand over money before I know what I'm getting. He then proceeded to tell me about the 30 day money back guarantee. I was up front with him and said that I don't trust that. I am not giving any information, but thank you anyway. I don't know if this is a scam or not, there is more than one company out there with this same structure.

Anyone who is an insurance agent has to have a state license.

At this site, you can make a formal complaint against the so-called "licensed health insurance agent". Provide his phone number, this number is located in Pompano Beach, and explain your complaint against this person, who claimed (to me) he worked for Health Services, but would not provide the company details. I had asked for a copy of the policy and was told no, and not until I signed on for the plan. Whatever he told you, provide the information in your complaint.

- KarenI have been called 2 and 3 times a day for the past week. Usually when I answer the phone they hang up but yesterday when I answered a man asked for my husband. I told them he wasn't available and they hung up on me. So I tried to call the number back and a recording comes on saying "The number has been disconnected or no longer in service!" On my caller ID it gives the number# 1-954-582-5359 and it says HEALTH SERVICES

- LadyBlueI too have received multiple hang up calls. I finally got a human who stated she was with a health insurance company called Health Services. I explained about all the hang up calls I had received for several weeks. I explained I did not want any insurance products from that company and would like to be taken off the call list. The lady I spoke with assured me I would be taken off the list. I then started receiving even more hang up calls! Multiple times a day, every day for another couple of weeks. I finally again found a real person on the line. This time it was a male. I told him I work nights and sleep days and I seriously did not appreciate the phone calls and that I had been told I would receive no more calls. He told me that because I WAS RUDE that my request to be taken off the call list had not been honored!
At this time, I searched for the caller's number, found a call back number of: 877-670-8731. I called and was again assured I would be taken off the call list. I also filed a complaint with the FCC.
The calls stopped for a month and began again today -30 days to the date I called them and filed the complaint.
I called them again today and filed another complaint with the FCC.
If the calls do not stop, there may be a road trip in my future.- Caller: Health Services

I use to work there and I know for a fact that this company is full of s**t and they treat there clients /members with complete disregard and ignores clients at times when they call for information on their membership and to cancel. Many of times I've been told bu***hit line to tell clients because they didn't want to deal with them. This is not insurance people, NOT INSURANCE!!!!!!!!! These are not insurance policy's and will not be honored as such. Medical saving memberships is not the same as insurance and anyone who wishes to press charges against this company I will be willing to assist 100%. Also In my interview I was informed to not have sympathy for the clients when they call to complain. During my employment I was certainly treated terribly. Somebody needs to bring this company down and everyone that works there. Thank Goodness for FREEDOM OF SPEECH! People if you are members and cant get in touch with the person you need to speak with, most likely that person is outside smoking a cigarette in a make believe meeting because they are too lazy/ or just don't care too handle the client at that time. There were clients calling 5-10 times a day to speak with someone about their membership or to cancel and was totally given the run around. If you know someone who is a member, just ask them what they think.
