these people called me last night and asked for someone else. i told the lady she had that wrong number and she hung up seeming kind of annoyed. i just figured it was a debt collector or something from the way she was acting. well now they just called back again but this time no one responded when i answered the phone. i heard a few clicks and that's it so i hung up. i'm not in the mood for this crap!

Rings several times and hangs up. Very annoying.

We received FIVE-yes--FIVE calls from this number today("Active Periodic").Enough is enough!!!

Today is May 21, 2009. I have received two calls from this number today. Both times I've answered it nobody answers back and it shows on my phone that the call failed. I've looked at some of the other comments on this site and no I don't think being part of Nextel has anything to do with it. I don't have Nextel and they are calling my cell also. Who are they and what do they want?

I got a call from them today (5/21/09). It's a company called Active Periodicals. They are a complete scam! They try to tell you that you've won and that in order to get your free magazines, you need to pay for $35 a month for 16 months or whatever. They won't let you cancel and they hang up on you. Do not answer. Type in Active Periodicals and you will see numerous scam reports and complaints. Who pays $35 a month for 16 months for magazines? You are paying full price for the 4 or 5 magazines you get. How is that winning? Anyone that sells you something over the phone has something to hide. Ignore their calls, apparently if you try to get off their calling list you get hung up on.

I have been receiving phone calls two to three times daily for about 2 weeks now.  I do not answer and they leave no messages.  Very irritating.

They call me several times of the day while iam at work. The next day i answer them and they says i can save more from there shopping spree program and they offer me some magazine to subscribed.  Then the supervisor talk to me and asked if i have a  credit card  to charged to the first payment and the shipping. I said yes, and they start asking my card info. But iam so smart i dont give anything for the reason of my safety. And after i refuse to give it to them the info they hang me up  and don't even say thank you or anything. In the first place i dont know them and never been subscribing anything hehehhehehe.

they have been calling me three times a day for the last 2 months, I finally got the number blocked from GCI.

I had a couple missed calls from them too. I called back to see who they were and a message came up giving me the option to remove my number from their list. I did, but I doubt it would do any good.

Over the past week and a half this number has called 8 times and left no message.  It seems to be arounf med morning each time.  I had no idea who it was until I read the posts here.  What do I do to make them stop?

This phone number has called me several times.  the first time the phone was answered as a child in my classroom picked it up when it rang.  Nobody was there when I took the phone. I then hung up.  It called me approximately 5 more times yesterday and again this morning.

i have received 3 calls from this number - 954-671-6946. I never answer b/c there is no caller id & if i don't know who you are, i won't answer you! They won't leave a message, but keep trying. Good luck! They are just wasting their time.

I got the call and i couldn't hear who it was. It was a woman, but my sister was yelling so loud i couldn't even think. It was not in my contacts, i have Verizon, and i don't know who was calling!

I receved calls from this # too.  I just find out by googling the # and put it in my address book on my phone and label it ignore along with setting the ring tone to no ringing so they just start showing up in missed calls.
