they have been calling multiple times a day.
my sister is 14 years old and they are calling for her.
i know it cant be some bank thing or debt collectors cause my sister doesnt owe anyone anything.

We recieved over 20 calls within a 24 hour period 5 Aug. 2007. We called our cell phone provider and were told that nothing short of our number being changed could help, of course with a 36 dollar charge.Each call  takes aprox 5 min of cell phone time when it goes to voice mail. Do the math on that one...100 min a day, and this has been going on for three days now.. Anyone know how or who?

They have already called three times in about 11 hours and I told them to not call here the last time. They asked for my 18 year old sister. Next time they call I will [***] them out.

why is this person calling?

i keep getting calls from this number but I haven't answered yet; I think next time I'll answer to try and set it straight

One thing I have done on my cell phone is make a contact listing called "wrong number".  For that contact I downloaded a "mosquito ringtone" 20hz that nobody but the smallest child can hear.  Thus I can leave my phone on at night and I'm not bothered by any of those wrong numbers.  If a new one comes along I throw it into that listing.

yeah someone called me from this number on my cell, and they let it ring once and hang up. i tried calling it back but all i got was a message saying that it was disconnected.

I have recieved these calls since Friday and they call and don't leave a message and when I have answered they don't say anything. I tried to call back to and its said it was disconnected.... Can someone help figure out a way to get them to stop callin...

This number calls continually and everytime I answer it hangs up.  Extremely annoying when I am trying to rest or if I am in the middle of a job.

I got a call from this number this morning and a man asked for my 10 yr old daughter by name..when I told her she was 10 he said "sorry for bothering you" and hung up.  I reported it to the police.  It must be something from the internet..because my daughter told me she filled out a form for a game website.  I called the local police and reported it to them.

I have got the call the last couple of months on my cell. The caller ID showed unknown name and the number. They would never talk or leave a message. I had my cell disconnected and got a landline and the same thing happends several times a day morning and night. Now they will not leave a message but sometimes they will talk. They ask for me and when I say this is her they hang up. I have tried to call them back and get the same disconnected message

This number has called me 18 times in the last 3 days and the same number only ending in 4 has called 11   who is this?

I just tried to called both numbers and I get that annoying sound and a messge that tells me the number is disconnected WTF?

this number has recently started calling my house.  my mom answered yesterday when i was gone and a female asked for my 18 year old daughter by name.  when my mom said she was sleeping may i ask who's calling the female hung up.  they called again bright and early this morining.

i want them to stop calling...there's a reason i'm on the do not call list.

I have been getting calls from this number since 9/4 and there seems to be so sort of pattern for the times that they call.  On 9/4 at 7:11pm; 9/5 at 9:11am, 12:21pm, 3:22pm, and 6:43pm; So far today 9/6 9:07am and 4:26pm. This is really getting annoying.

I keep getting calls from this number/also ending in "4" as well as 1-800-793-0282.
They usually ask for the previous tenants of my apartment if I pick up.
If I don't pick up, it stops after 3 rings.  As others have noted, it is disconnected when I call back.

This person called me and when I switched over it hung up. Then I tried to call it back not in service

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day for about 4 days.  It is starting to really upset me.  How do I stop this.  I do not answer this call, and they do not leave messages.
