My husband had just arrived in Basra this morning and he called me to let me know he'd arrive then 12 mins later I got a call from the number above. I answered and at first thought it was my husband but it was an Iraqi and he hung up. I've called my husband back and he's fine. Just very strange!!

Just happened the same with my wife. I'm in Iraq, we spoke in the morning and now (12:00) she got a call from the number 964-1-993-3333. Does anybody know what's this?

This was happened to me also. Mid night my family received a call from same number.

I just got a call from this number too... My partner is in Iraq, is there any way of reporting it? Or was there any repercussions to answering it?

I spoke to a relative in Erbil, Iraq and half an hour later I received two consecutive short calls (5 seconds each) from the number 964-1-993-3333.  There was a clicking noise on the other side and when I said Hello there was no answer.  I suspect that this is an automated call to hack smartphones or a tracking set by the powers to be to track all calls between Iraq and the outside world!
