I received a group text message from ph # 971-259-8162, with 19 other phone numbers from various area codes that were included in this group text, none of which were in my contacts list already.

The message said " I AM alisha (23) live in your street. looking for a sex partner in the neighborhood. Therefor I've a picture on here: [link to webpage] join now and search me <alisha4u8> and text me you also got my contact number there if you wanna give me a call. I guess if you're attracted to me."

I did not click to open the link. Suspecting scam, as I know all the people living on my street, and not one is a 23 y/o named alisha.

Yep. Got the same thing.... I was included in two separate group texts from Alisha 23 year old from “my street” looking for a sex partner.

Was included in ANOTHER group text with the same exact message, different phone number.

Based on the grammar, this is probably run or at least originated in India as a phishing scam.  Forward to your carrier as spam #7726 on most phones.

Why is this person sending me this. I do not know Her.

So did I...obviously a scam...Original text on screen has a 310 area code...or maybe your area code. Once you open it the area code is 971.
