Freaking scamer robo telemarketer re credit card debt

I've been getting calls, on my cell, from this number, and others at least 3 time a day.  The calls are regarding lowering my interest rate on my credit card debt, but I don't have any outstanding debt, all of my credit cards are current.

I have reported them to the federal communication agency, but like all of the government agencies today, they don't do anything.  This has been going on for the last 8 months and nothing.  My cell number is register with the do not call federal agency.

This is a mayor SCAM and the Federal Communication and our current government, that we pay those CEO salaries, don't care and do zero for us.

I have gotten so many of these calls on my cell phone in the last six weeks, it is ridiculous.  Sometimes from this number, others from Florida and Utah, Wisconsin and Minnesota.  It seems they started after I booked airline tickets and shuttle service.  Wonder if there is a connection??????

Have been getting calls from this number for awhile, but I never answer. Finally, I called it back to see what it was and got the "Mike Joooones." I am on the Do Not Call list, but nothing ever comes from reporting these jerks. I have decided to just save them in my contacts under BOGUS and set the ring to no ring.

Same thing keeps happening to me and then they hang up on you if you push one and start talking.. what is the poing.. Im confused! ughhh... GET  A JOB....

I get a daily call on my cell phone and on my landline form this company.  When you punch the number to speak to an operator, and tell them you want to be off their list, they hang up.  How can I stop these calls?  It's been going on for at least 2 years.

Keeps calling my cell phone in the evening hours; I haven't picked up the call since the first time 2-3 weeks ago. I've tried DONOTCALL, but it's still getting through

Such of idiots, and they use a magnificent language, I think they were in a jail all their lives. They do not have anything better to do but to irritate people.

Keep receiving these annoying calls at all hours.

This number keeps calling me with a recorded message, they will not take me off the calling list.

HOW TO THROTTLE BOGUS CALLS

Ok, here's a solution if your phone has a 
contacts list--it works quite well on my iPhone.

Step 1, create a contact named such as:
            IGNORE JUNK CALL
Step 2, select a SILENT ring type for this contact. 
            Or, select a distinctly unusual ring tone like
             CRICKETS or MOTORCYCLE  or RIFLE...
Step 3. Enable CALLER ID for your line

What you do is to put all bogus and scam callers in this 
list... Here's how.

Now, unless you know a toll free number owner,
let all calls of this type go unanswered, and if no 
voicemail is left, add the Caller ID as this phone  number
In IGNORE JUNK CALL. Also add any other bogus calls
you get or know about go in this contact. Meaning
all callers that don't leave a voice mail, or are soliciting
you for services or products who you don't have
a business relation with. And slime bags you don't want
to talk to, like that jerk at the bar, or your ex.

For new toll free and also out of area cslls: run these
through Google search to see if they have been reported
as junk. 

Don't call a toll free number back, it captures your
phone number and you get on other  lists to call you.

FURTHER: Don't take the default voice mail message
that came with your phone, because it usually
speaks your phone number and indicates you aren't 
around to pick up the call and maybe even speaks your name.  

Record a new one
like "Sorry I missed you, your message will be appreciated".
Friends will know your voice. Scammers, not so often.
My list is long now, my silent ring saves me a lot
of interruption.

I answered and no one was on the other side. Dead air for like three seconds then they hung up.

This person at this number (971) 295-9768 has been calling for some time now. When u call the number it says that the voice mail box for Mike Jones is full and can not accept calls. I want these calls to stop. I dont know who he is and i dont want to know.

I call this number back and the MORON has a full Voicemal mailbox

Seriously? People do not have anything better to do. Stop calling me! They could at least leave an amusing message.

Same happening to me! I have had many "lower you rates" calls from all over the U.S. The last two I received, I pressed "1" and then I asked them to remove . . ., and then they hang up and my camera goes off. I look to see which number was calling and the number is gone. This is really getting weird.

Here is the info on the scumbags. Make sure you file complaints against them at bbb.org, donotcall.gov and fcc.gov.  Also call, fax and e-mail them and be sure to tell them EXACTLY what you think of their annoying calls

This is the scam that countless other people have been affected by. Also called at 12:04 PM on 03/20/2012 from same phone number and on 3/12/12 at 259PM. Also 5034571231 at 605 PM on 3/19/12 and from 7606806895 on 3/19/12 at 250PM and on 3/15/12 at 1123AM. Also, received a call from 6122227091 on 3/14/12 at 113PM and on 3/9/12 at 447PM. Also received call from 9712959768 on 3/6/12 at 902PM and on 3/5/12 at 409PM. Another number is 3072743886 on 3/5/12 at 559PM.

I answered their call once in the Fall and since then have received all of these phone calls. I filed a complaint with the FTC about all of these numbers (all of the ones I've received in the last month).
