Got a call on my cell phone today 3/12/2009 at 10:49am. They didn't leave a message. I tried calling the number back today 3/12/2009 at 11:50am and I got a recording that said "the number you are calling is not allocated".

hang up..left mess sayying nothing

called no# back ...it said..... "the number you are calling is not allocated".

Got the call at 11:00 AM same as everyone else

I got a call from this number this morning I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it nor did they leave a message..... I'm probably thinking is from some advertising/promotion companies.

Im from Puerto Rico. I received this call today at 11:04 AM, doing the same thing as all the comments above, is just phone hacking, be careful, they can take your personal info by accesing ur sim card

I did too, and I'm in Puerto Rico with Open Mobile. What is this about. I didn't pick up.

the message is in Spanish,I received the call in Puerto Rico.Sounds like a scam.

The recording was in english,(We speak spanish in PR) "this the last chance to claim for ___, to place a request a __ push 1.  Obviously this a trick to stole my phone number and use it for you know what

I recently got a new phone number and was stupid enough to sign up at DAVIDS BRIDALS website. Ever since then I have gotten calls from random telemarketers and it has made me very irate. I know it is Davids Bridal who sold information because I JUST CHANGED MY NUMBER! Every single time a bridal place calls me I ask for their company name and I tell them I will never give them my business. Lesson learned.

I'm in Oregon, just got a call, spanish speaking male, then it hung up. I don't speak spanish, but did catch the phrase "uno" - I'm on the Sprint Network here and this phone is issued by my office. Looks like it's just some random selection as to how they got my number.

I received a call from this number saying something related to the money President Obama is going to send to Puerto Rico.

I get random calls all the time on my cell (like this one).  If I don't recognize the number or a contact doesn't come up I simply don't answer it.  Although it's annoying seems we'll just have to live with it.  With great strides in technology we also get set backs from it.  The one's hurt the most are legitimate companies trying to call us, yet we are forced to ignore them.
*On a side note*  Has anyone EVER bought or used a service from an unsolicited phone call?  I know I haven't, I wonder how this tactic could be cost effective.

I just got a call from this number saying (in spanish) " this is your last chance to take part of the economic stimulus.  If you want to get part of this economic stimulus press '1' "  ......... I hate this scams

Soy boricua y a mi me acaba de llamar, pero como mi servicio es Open Mobile yo no tengo llamadas a Estados Unidos, pues soy de Puerto Rico, pero no es la primera vez que me llama.  Saludos boricuas

Got a Call (Couple of times) on a T-Mobile on Puerto Rico, when answered no one talked... Only Silence.
