I recieved the same type of call. Daniel was the man's name. He had a very heavy Indian accent very difficult to understand. The same line of questions as others have experiences. Are you and your spouse american citzens? Are you between the ages of late 20's to mid 40's? Is your financial status  50,000? Where would you like to go on your trip? I told the caller that this sounded to good to be true. He attempted to reassure me that it all about trying to get our loyalty for furture bussiness. He explained that I would have to come to a location to pick-up my gift and to expect to stay about 90 minutes. He was firm in reminding me that my spouse and I had to come together with no other guest. The call ended when I would not give him an answer of where I would like to go. This number will definitly be blocked.

Received 4 calls in a row from this number, Indian, strong accent, something about a form we filled out for a vacation.  I told him in no uncertain terms to never call my number again, or I'd report him.   He hung up.

I receive a call from this same number three weeks ago telling the government selected me for a grant and they needed me to collect the money. I told him to give me the website so I could check it and then send them my address. He gave me a web address that ends in .IN. So i asked him if that was the gov't of India. He foolishly said yes. So  I said Ok ,I will check the claim and get back to him.
Initially I thought it was a business working on behalf of the gov't until he gave me a .IN web address.
Yesterday, same number called again after waiting for my info in vain for three weeks. I did not bother to answer and they left no message. There are many scammers  operating from India and people need to be careful not to give their information to strange callers.

Wife got the call.  Was a trip, filled out application in store.   Wife kept having him repeat everything  since she couldn't hear him.   When she was going to give me the phone, he hung up.   He was probably a scammer and got fed up having to keep explaining stuff

Another of those telemarketers.  We are seniors, and receive about 3 a day from this and other telemarketers.  My new hone system won't block this for me, so I want to find another way to block it.  At any rate, I'm sick of it

I have gotten 2 phone calls in the past 3 weeks from "worldwide travel" telling me I have won a "promotional giveaway" for 1 of 2 vacation packages.  A woman with a very heavy Indian accent called both times from the same Dallas, TX number - (972) 994-6834.  She said I won because I entered at a store back "when I was Christmas shopping", but could not tell me the store.  I repeatedly asked her why it took so long to call me and she kept dodging the question, just saying "my application had been drawn".

The first vacation option is to a water park for 3 days and 2 nights, no airfare included.  The second option is 3 days and 2 nights in a 5 star hotel in Las Vegas, Orlando, or Washington D.C. with airfare included.  She told me I had to go to the local office to pick up my prize (I live in Ohio), but before she could tell me where that was, she said I had to become a member, but didn't explain what that meant.

When I told her I believed the nature of her call was a scam, she hung up on me.  When I tried to call the number back, I got a Verizon wireless recording saying the number was disconnected or no longer in service.
I have reported this number to the Ohio Attorney General for Investigation.

Haha, I got this one today too and I let him talk and played along with him because I always like to see if I can figure out how they are trying to scam me, but then as soon as I told him I was single, he said I was ineligible and hung up. That confused me a bit.

I just received a call from this number. It was a man with a strong Indian accent saying that he was following up about my application or something of the sorts. I told him that he must have had the wrong number and he claimed he didn't. I then asked him for the name on the application and he couldn't answer me and put me on hold. After about a minute I hung up.
