they keep calling my phone all the way in ohio.  i work for an attorney and if it continues, im going to pursue a lawsuit.  it is total harrassment.  they even called on a sunday.  who does nonsense like that.

I do not know who called me but please take me off your list.

I live in Japan and just woke up to a missed call from 973-360-2026. The call came at 1:04 AM to my Textfree (iPhone) app number which I have only given to my sister. It's a SF Bay Area number.

Whoever, not whomever, in this instance.  The action verb "bring" requires an object, but "whoever is responsible," as a unit, comprises the object, so no there's need to convert whoever into whomever.

If you work for an attorney, what have they said?  I just got a hang up from them, and I am on a 'do not call list.'  I'd like to help.

Got a call at home, same as others report:  1 ring, hang up.

Received a call from this number it hung up called it back it was disconected.

Got two back-to-back calls on my Google Voice number, which is not listed anywhere. Account is set up as "do not disturb" so it goes straight to voicemail. Two calls were bam-bam, one right after the other. Automated? Must be. And looks like majority of recipients here are reporting the call on an Internet-based line of some sort. I agree with the hacking theory...

called my number i think because listed in the yellow pages. Probably they are selling something..

Don't these people have a life. Why do these fakes and telemarketers wasye their time calling when there is even no one there? Such a waste of time. Can't get me anyway. I don't answer my phone.

They are likely compiling a database of active numbers that they can sell for some purpose. Ignore them.
