Received 5 or 6 calls in the past week.  I have called the number twice and pressed "1" to have my number removed from their database.

This number called me 3 times a day! Even though I am on the do not call list! Bummer!

Called my land line twice on 10Jun2011.  Caller ID listed it as GRNCHR.  I did not answer and they, of course left no message.  Looking at other websites like this this number has been a home security firm and/or a modeling agency????  Go figger.

I didn't answer the phone. I have this phone for 1 person and only 1 person. If it's NOT him, I decline the call.

Got 3 calls from this number yesterday - Caller ID says GRNCHR.  Today I finally picked it up but there was no one on the line - I just told "them" to quit calling me.  (One of the reverse number lookups that I did said it was a land line in Massachusetts and that it was a telecommunications company)

Call after call no one on the other end. Finally got upset and shouted into the phone and a young man who identified himself as Tom was calling from Chevrolet of America. Wanted me to test drive a car in exchange for a $100 gift certificate. I told him my cell was registered on the no call list and that I didn't appreciate the repeated all hour phone calls. Wow go figure, GM Obama motors and they don't obey the no call legislation passed by Congress. Tom politely said they would remove my number immediately.

Just received a call from this number by caller ID is was GRNCHR,,,,did not answer and no message left.
I never pick up the phone unless I know who is calling or it is a cell number. Makes it hard, we use our #  and I am thinking to giving the cell number to tenants or interested calls.  Sometimes I don't even mess with it unless there is a property for rent...and they can go to the machine too!

trying to get me to buy a used car

today I got a call on caller ID said GRNCHR. ?? Didn't leave a message

They called my cell phone and said they were from my local auto group and offered a $50 Visa gift card to test drive a car.  They immediately hung up when I said I wasn't interested in a new car.

I did not answer but I DID leave a voice-to-text message on their answering machine!! If you have Sprint or Virgin Mobile you can text them something like "eat a bag of dicks" or whatever and it will leave a voice message as such on their land line. Do it!! Fight back!!!

If you say "stop calling me" every time he says "I am terribly sorry I'll remove your nu-" before he finishes he hangs up.

I keep getting these calls on a daily basis too. They don't leave a message and when I call back it does not connect me to anything. At least it only calls in the daytime and not at night.

From digging and digging here is what I found out and could verify.
This company is really Maximum Security out of Sacramento, CA.  If you call back the 978-570-2447 number you get the option to be removed from their call list by pressing 1.  IT DOES NOT WORK.

The owner of this sham Company is Andrew Higgins (other websites have reported this)-his direct extension is 301.  Flood him with calls/voicemails, dead air etc.
His extension was verified by a friend of mine call the 888 number above and asking for him-and of course got sent to voicemail.  He left an appropriate message!

thanks for the info.  I am also on the do not call list and I report companies to the FCC-Federal Consumer Complaints.  Their website is easy to get to and you fill a complaint.  Let's stop this jerk from calling us again.

888-564-5621 is NOT the number to call. That number goes to a homebuilder in North Carolina.
