I got a call from a female with a thick mid-eastern accent. She told me she was from Independent Company Services/Helpdesk located in Las Vegas.  She told me to get on my computer and press and hold the window key on my keyboard at the same time and then push the small letter 'r'.  I told her I need to talk to someone that speaks English clearer.  She told me to hold and she would get her Senior Executor!  I was told the same thing by him and he was getting frustrated.  I pretended to do what they asked and I said I saw nothing on my screen after doing the above mentioned command.  I told him I was having a hard time understanding and what exactly do they want.  He said they can remove 'junk files'...I told him I did not need to do this!  He got mad and told me to pay attention!  I told him I thought he was a SCAM!  

Today (May 29) received call from 985-512-6598- which ID on my caller ID system said was---"Louisiana Call ," a mobile telephone.  Did not answer and person hung up. No message on answer-machine.  Decided to google as I do have friends in that state. Was concerned it might have been someone I know.  Glad to see responses here.  Just the old scam of trying to control one's computer!!!!   Have had many of those from mobile phones in other areas and in those cases the phone number is not valid according to Google. But this one is valid.  From Louisiana and it is a mobile phone.

I sometimes get these calls....just wish our government was set up to shut these people down.  I immediately ask if they would like my credit card number or my bank account number.  This guy seem slow to respond but then seem ready to take my numbers.  He hung up when ask him if he would like a $50,000 wire transfer instead.  

I just got another call at 7:58PM EST. I let my answering machine pick it up. All I heard was a lot of back ground noise.

I have been the receipient of many,,,today the male wanted to know about porn movies...after a few minutes of BS....he called me an ass??le and hung up.

Good. I just let the answering machine pick up.

Some Indian calling about my computer having a virus. I hung up on him because other than me nobody should be monitoring my computer.

Folks, these are the consequences of corporate America sending jobs overseas. Not only is corporate America ruining our economy by not hiring Americans, but now someone on the other side of the world has access to all our information to scam us.

Meanwhile our politicians get campaign contributions from these corporations, and the bad economy is blamed on the illegals (the ones who can't vote).

Why is ths person calling not saying anything

I just received a call from this number and like all of the others the female with a thick accent on the other end said it was in reference to my pc. I told her I had no pc and for her to never call this number again. She promptly told me she knew I had a pc and would call again, again, again and again.

I got a call from this number today, and was told it was about my computer and I said what are you trying to do.  And then the barely speaking fruitcake said he wanted to touch my boobs.  He said it over and over...I asked him where he was and he gave the name of my street.  I told him I was calling the police and he said he would never be found, then he said he has been watching me.

call from person with thick accent who wanted me to give them access to my computer.  said they were a security company for Microsoft and needed money to fix my computer remotely.

I got same jackazz, call me few day ago.. he said all those thing if was in front of my computer, pretty much everything that was said in all comment i read here.  I think his interest was to give us virus, or hack into our computer to steal information.  I hope someone will put end to this hacker soon.  

Got a call from someone with a distinctly Indian accent (I heard a number of the same types of accents in the background) instructing me that there is an issue with my computer and I need to fix it.  He got me to open the Event Viewer and I got suspicious, so I asked him where he was calling from, to which he replied, "my office."  I asked him where that office might be located and he said it was located right behind me.  I hung up on him.
This is the second call of this type that I have received.  The first one was from a 206 number and he claimed to be from Microsoft.  I suspect something nefarious.  Don't give out any information and ask for a call-back number.

Just got a call from the same number saying that my computer was infected. I asked him what company he was with and he said that I didn't need to know that. That he was trying to help me. I said oh really ok what's my name which he said was not important either. I told him that I didn't appreciate the scam call and that he needed to go back from where he came from. He proceeded to tell me to F*** off and that he was watching me. I told him thank you so much for your time and hung up on his dumb ass.

Got a call from this number at 5:50 EST today...no message but a sound like "Huh" and then silence til my machine disconnected ... I'm glad I wasn't home when this call came in because the area code is for my hometown and I would've automatically answered the call... :/

So some spainiard called me from La informing me my pc has problems? how did thet know and who infected it? them?

Same as a lot of others a deep accent telling me about computer problems when told him I knew it was a scam that my computer does not talk or give information to anyone he got derogatory and I called him a sick ****** and hung up these people are getting sexually explicit just hang up if u hear an Indian accent

An Indian Guy called from 985-512-6598 same thing related to fixing computer. I told him why are you calling this Tel No.This dirty guy started using dirty abusive language in Hindi. When I disconnected the phone he called me again and used the abusive language in Hindi.
I called 911 they told me to call Attorney General @ 1-800-392-8222.
I will call tomorrow. This No is from Louisiana.This is a scam going on
