This number keeps calling me, I tried calling it back and it said my phone has fraud protection blah blah... Is this number dangerous?

It's a windows 7 scam. I told them I don't own a windows computer and then they proceeded to call my mother every insult in the book. The person sounded like they were 12

Called me about my Windows computer. Would not identify who they were. I Asked them to put me on their do not call list. They swore at me and hung up.

Called about my computer as well. Told the Indian-sounding man it wasn't right to take advantage of people and he got agitated at me. Told me he just wanted to help with my computer. I told him if I had a computer problem I'd call a real tech support line and he hung up.

Received a call from this number and declined it at 1:18pm on 11/23/16

Got a call from it. Didn't recognize it as an even legit number so i didn't answer it. Good to know it was a scam.

Received calls from 9917, I do not answer,  they never leave a message.

Got a call from this number. Thick accented male says he's calling about my windows computer. I said "yeah no" and hung up. Should have said something nasty. I think I'll look up Indian insults for next time.

I Got a call and knew it wasn't a real number. So I didn't bother to answer.

Received several calls in 2 days from this number. Since it's only 4 digits I didn't answer it. I will block them.

These people are ridiculous and they call me for the last 5 days straight  I told them that I have a serious health condition and to please stop calling me. I couldn't believe the person started insulting me and said that death was knocking at my door and that I was going to hell when I died. I told him some very unkind words and hung up on them. That's really when the harrasment started from them I wish I knew how to find these people and have the law give them what they deserve . I have never been so insulted in my life.

Someone keeps calling me from this number and when I answer they just make odd guttural noises.

Got 6 calls from this number in the last 24 hours. Answered once, the young male with an accent said he was calling about Windows to which I asked him to take me off his call list. He answered "why" several times then started cursing at me "[***] lady". Lovely. Sounds to me from the posts here like it's just one guy doing this for kicks. Very annoying.

Called me at least 5 times throughout today and did not leave a message. Extremely annoying.

This number (991-7) called me about 7 times before i finally answered. A man with an Indian accent ( in a very loud and raucous room) answered saying he was calling from Microsoft Support and that my computer had a hidden program that was stealing my information from my email and web searches, and could at any second lock me out of my computer. I, somewhat scared (kept putting off a full system scan for weeks now, and who knows what could have slipped through) followed through for a few minutes. After being told to check my event viewer, and finding an error message in the administrative tab, i was told to go to a download link for "TeamViewer." The second I i opened the application, i ended the call and uninstalled the TeamViewer program. It was a program that allowed people to control your computer remotely.

Do not pick up the to number 991-7. In fact, block the number the first chance you get.

Received a call from 9917 but  did not answer it

Called and said my computer has a problem!

Called twice in the last 2 hours. Did not answer either  time.
