Report a phone call from 999-910-0312 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- JD in San Jose| 1 replyThey called last night once, then twice tonight. First two times there was no one on the line. Third time I heard laughter and lots of background noise from their call center. What is the Indian word for [***]?
If they call again I will just put my 2 year old on the line. They will be sorry....- Caller: Unknown
- SouthernCaliforniaThis number has called before 8 am & after 9 pm, and in-between, for the past 2 weeks. Thanks to these posts, I knew what to expect, so I took the call tonight. I let the guy go through his spiel, then said I didn't understand what he said. He shortened it to "getting errors from my microsoft windows computer". When I asked which computer, he again said microsoft windows computer. I told him that was the Operating Sytem, not the computer; then he told me it was a "Wista" computer. I started laughing, told him there is no Wista computer, told him this was probably a scam, and hung up.
Really, too easy, thanks to all of your posts. - GEMJust got one myself 2:30 PM. Called them a couple of names and hung up.
- Caller: P C SOMETHING
- smithI keep getting called by 999-910-0312 and they are reporting that I am getting viruses on my computer and they are there to fix it.
- Mama replies to LThat is the same call I received
- NANCY replies to SICK AND TIRED!!Don't just get mad - do something about it! I did:
Google Attorney General for your state and look up how to file a complaint. My state (Calif) linked me to the DNC (do not call) where you can type in exactly what happened. Clearly these people don't care if you are on the DNC list, so we need to take action.
Good luck. - NANCY replies to JD in San JoseDon't just get mad - do something about it! I did:

Good luck. - NANCY| 1 replySame thing happened to me. Repeated calls, Pakistani guy, virus is about to crash my computer, blah blah. When I said Are you KIDDING me? he hung up. However that's when the terrorizing began. Call after call, day after day, hanging up on me, after I hear them talking in what sound like a phone room.
So this is what I did and what YOU should do:
Google Attorney General for your state and look up how to file a complaint. My state (Calif) linked me to the DNC (do not call) where you can type in exactly what happened. Clearly these people don't care if you are on the DNC list, so we need to take action.
Then I called COX Comm, my phone service provider. They need to hear from us so THEY do something and I think they can!- Call type: Telemarketer
- ASI received the same phone call with the same experience. I had been having trouble with my laptop so I kind of believed them for a minute, I hardly could understand the man speaking to me, his supervisor spoke a little clearer english but I caught on real quick and concluded the call.
- Caller: Microsoft
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnjelThey have been calling me here...lol...so I told him [***], not everybody is stupid in America and believes you....he got mad and said I have a bad conception and should listen to my parents.
Next time I will try the whistle. - MarkCScammer called from 9999 100312. Preceded and proceeded by blocked caller ID. Got a spate of such calls, claiming that they've found viruses on my Windows PC (I use a Mac).
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Edmonton ChapCall from the offending #. Man with an Indian accent saying he's from Microsoft and our computer is about to crash. Pathetic scam.
- spikethedogWas woken up TWICE tonight by this number, once at 11 PM, again at 12:30 AM.
That's midnight - thirty!
I thought my 91 year-old, sick mother might be calling.
Missed both calls but am booking a flight to India tomorrow to hunt this guy down and bring him to my basement for "phone etiquette training."
Seriously, what can be done?- Caller: Unknown
- IanThis number is associated to 718-593-4515. Same scam with the same "man from Microsoft."
It comes back to a New York City location. When you give them a hard time they call back from the 999-910-0312 location.
Suggestion: leave the connection open and place the phone handset beside the TV with a news station on...for about 10 minutes. - JohnOO replies to NANCYProblem is, companies outside of the country that you live in that don't have a domestic presence aren't bound by a DNC list.
- dont call me5 time now today.......SIGH GO AWAY!!!
- Caller: Micro soft Scam it seems
- SoozyqGRRRR they have been calling non-stop. I have not picked up.... but today I think I will. Last call was at 11:30pm last night and I have had enough. Love the idea of saying ok hold on a minute and then putting the phone down beside the television.
- Caller: Unknown - Microsoft scam?
- higgyTHIRD CALL. Told me that he is from microsoft and that they're receiving error messages from my computer. Breaks in the call sounded like out of country call. Told him not interested and hung up.
