- Mommy replies to This GuyIt is not just Jamaicans, also Nigerians answering Craigslist ads. All scams, so beware! If it was legitimate, they would use a local number and leave a normal message. All scams ask for money to be sent to them. I hope many people see this. I have had several of them try to scam me, unfortunately. I wish we could end this crap, but other countries do nothing to try to stop it.

- J.O.By the time I got to my cell phone, they had hung up. Why are they calling me, when it is after midnight? They left no message.
- From TexasI quickly recognized the call as a scam and had some fun with them. Evidentially, I’m going to be arrested by local police in front of my family and neighbors to spend the night in jail so I can be tried on my county’s front steps (on a Satuday no less) for committing IRS Fraud. The process was going to long and grueling—would need to hire are attorney and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars defending the case because they had a solid case. Unless…I cooperated with them. If the IRS wants you they’ll snail mail you a couple of times prior to calling you. And if they call, they’ll be able to provide you private information—not the reverse. Total scam. Don’t fall for this hoax.
- Caller: IRS Attorney

- SarahThe past couple of days, I've been getting calls by blocked numbers. Always in the middle of the night. They leave messages from a guy with a very thick accent saying that I need to call back immediately. It's always followed by this 999 number calling me. Not sure what it is.
