002x numbers
Type a phone number and press "Search", to find out who owns that number and why they call.
- 35 calls from this number today. Always clicks off when you answer or answerphone kicks in. In all, 8 calls today from 'international' or unsolicited calls! Just exasperating.
- 1Yet another BT scam call about closing my internet down (I'm not with BT!) This makes about ten in the past week, grrrrhhhhh. BLOCKED!
- 1Computer generated female voice telling me to press one to avoid having BT internet being cut off. Not on BT and never get cut off. Parasites. Wish I could locate them and relocate them to a shallow grave.
- 1Rang my 87 year old father at 1.20 am. His phone is his lifeline and is being pestered by nuisance calls. He also has Alzheimer's and answers the phone all the time in case it's his family. BT need to take a long hard look at themselves allowing this to happen.
- 1Received a call with this caller-ID. Didn't leave a message. Looks a lot like a London number but with an extra zero at the start. Interestingly a web search for 02078371433 suggests that this number is also used for cold calling. So probably both are fake.
- 3Mechanical voice with US accent announcing that my internet connection will be terminated in next 24 hours. option 1 to stop, option to to terminate. Left phone off hook to waste their time.
- 1Received a call with this caller ID. Looks fake, because: 1) format is international, but the INTERNATIONAL flag was not set. 2) wikipedia says that country code 28 is unassigned.
- 1Received a call with this caller-ID. Looks a lot like an outer London number but with an extra leading zero.
- 2Called my elderly parents several times. Said they were BT. Told them their internet is going to be turned off tonight unless they followed a procedure on their computer. Obvious scam.
- 2Voicemail left saying something to do with HMRC and a warrant being issued for arrest? Tell you to press one to be connected but nothing happens
