- 1Call received on my mobile, automated message with female voice telling me to add her to WhatsApp as she wants to talk to me about a job and then the line goes dead
- 1Scam call purporting to be 'your bank' reporting two unusual actions on the account. "The first charge is £199 for Amazon, the second charge is £802 by International Money Transfer. If this is wrong, press 1 to speak to one of our team etc." Called at 10:10 on 8 April 2025.
- 2Just be sure to check your Amazon account anyway. The fraudsters sometimes like to throw doubt on legitimate fraud calls. No matter the message, never click on links or answer questions to an unsolicited call but do not ignore fraud calls, either. Always check your account online.
- 11/4/2025 10:58 a.m. Purporting to be Amazon, saying we'd made two payments, one fairly low and the other over £1000. They were calling because the payment had been made by a method we didn't normally use. If this wasn't us, press 1 etc.
- 1Woman's voice autodialler unauthorised transactions to allow press 1 to dispute press 2 to talk to our representative from 07901804589
- 1Purports to be from (unnamed) Banks security dept advising of 2 unusual transactions on my account.
- 1claimed to be from a "bank" saying some transactions from Amazon on a card had been used and to call bank . didn't say which bank.
