I See all the "Who Called me" Sites, with Numbers & Comments Blah blah..!! Here's My Common Sense Approach to Stump These Fools.. (#1) I Set the Outgoing message on my Answer Machine, & Monitor the Caller. Outgoing msg Is: ("Identify Yourself" & "If I'm Available I will Take your Call").. Simple & Free... ~_^
First, most people don't have answering machines anymore; they have voicemail. Heck - lots of people don't even have landlines. With voicemail you can't monitor the message being left. Second, this is a useless suggestion for those that have to answer their phone, such as if it is used for work, or you have an elderly or infirm relative. Of course, not answering the phone is fine if you're able to do that, but this is not feasible for many people.

Folks. 2018 I said this to a Revenue Canada scammer, and it worked like a charm... "I don't handle these matters but let me get you the number of my lawyer." "You have a lawyer?" "Well, yeah. Doesn't everyone these days?" CLICK and he was gone.
"It worked like a charm". Hmmmm... no. The scammer would have hung up anyway when he realized he wasn't going to be able to scam you. There was nothing special about you saying you had a lawyer that made him hang up any faster. Also, telling this ONE scammer you have a lawyer has absolutely no bearing on any other scammers (CRA and otherwise) that fire up the ole autodialer and call you.
I hope you are well. I don't know how else to address this issue. I hope you can assist, I have written to the administrators of this site without any luck. Some unknown stranger posted a comment about me and my number, i.e Gloria on number 0715129502, allerging that I owe him R400 and have not paid him back. I don't know the person, neither do I know his intentions for doing what he has done but my colleague pointed out this comment and I need it deleted. What can I do to resolve this and have this erased. Please advise. TX Gloria
