I've just had a call from this number; no message left on the answering machine, but as a lot of people are indicating that they have answered & got a recorded message I'll be reporting it as such to the ICO.

This is the second morning in a row I have had this call about writing off debts. As with previous callers I have not registered to have these type of calls (as claimed in the recorded message), nor do I have any debts which require to be written off. I am also registered with the TPS, for what good that does me..? When will the government do something about these complete wastes of time and space? If I get this call again I will log it with ICO.

Have called me but silent call.  I keep the number on my phone, like all other scam calls I give them a distinctive ring tone, that is easy to recognise, when I get a scam call I just ignore it as I know what the call is. I can't do this with international numbers as there is no phone number, but phone tells me it's international. So don't answer.  I don't answer withheld Willcalls, if it's genuine they will leave a message on answer.

At 28/03/2013, at 11.13am, I received a (recorded?) call from 01542-842715.  I was told by a man with a plummy English accent that I had agreed to receive finance calls.  I have never wanted any of these calls but cannot stop them despite having signed up with BT to stop unwanted calls.

Just received a recorded message.  Well spoken male.  Saying I opted in which I didn`t.  Something about debts exceeding £10,000.  Very much like other calls.  I don`t speak just put the phone down.

Call received from recorded message machine advising me that I can get my debts written off.
I know that is not the case, unless the Creditor agrees to do so or the Debtor is registered bankrupt.
I am on the TPS listing so disagree vehemently that I should be subjected to these calls from ANY source or in any manner made.
If I find their address................................

Another nuisance call, don’t know who it is. I always let this type of call go to answer machine but no message left.

Yet another number to add to call barring.

Same as everyone else - don't have debt and am not interested in financial products.  Also annoying that you can't stop the call to use the phone yourself - I'll try the hash key trick if it happens again.

constantly getting called by this number with no one on the other end

24 pages generated in 2 weeks says it all. This one must surely be reported and shut down.

There was silence when I picked up the phone and replaced the receiver.

Our number is ex-drectory and we registered with the TPS - what else do we have to do! ggggrrrrr!

Call from this number at 1251 today. Was not answered as I did not recognise the number. No message left on answering machine. Am ex-directory.

Further to my previous message above, another call previously received from this lot on 20th Mar at 1309. No message left.

Injury compensation scam

i just had yet another call from 01542 842715 offering me compensaiton for an injury I haven't had.  i rang off

A recording, male, english. I'm someone who is interested in Injury Compensation apparently. I could speak to an advisor if I press 5 and it will only take 2 minutes with the possibility of getting thousands... apparently.
I know who needs injuring and its not me.
Reported to ICO.
