A Welsh sounding guy claiming to be from a South Wales based company called Pristine, supposedly calling on behalf of Scottish Power regarding best deals. I'm not in charge of the bills where I live, so the call ended quite quickly. Took a while to get a voice when I first answered, so obviously using autodialler.

just gave me a miss call on my mobile , when i rung back an asian guy answered then hung up.

I answered the phone to this number-some sort of call centre.
Nobody spoke but I could here people with English accents talking about 'meat'!!

I do not know why people ring and not speak to the handset-but to themselves instead??

i was contacted by this company a few weeks ago about refunds availiable to myself off my credit card,
this was nearly 3 weeks ago and i have already had a response from capital one with an offer of a refund on my ppi, I was very surprised and i would recomend using them just because they had evderything sorted for me so quickly!!

Just called me asking for a mrs Godfrey. hate virgin for giving us a recycled number. very nice man said we will remove the number from the system and said we have a lot of problems with virgin phone customers as they recycle their numbers a lot

just recieved call from scottish sounding male who said he was from Iphonic Claims. told me i was entilted to approx £4500 back from mis-sold arrangement fees on my mortgage. Was then asked for bank details and an upfront payment of £99 plus vat to activate my claim..needless to say i wont be taking up their offer

Just had a welsh sounding girl call me on 01792828773 and was very abrupt and rude when I simply asked who was calling.  'I need to know that I'm speaking to the right person before I tell you who we are'.  Apparently introducing who you are when calling your household is not required.  She then hung up.     How Rude!

Just received another call from this number. Not quite sure what the guy said when I answered but he did sound Welsh - he hung up!

Just had a call from this number from a welsh guy saying he was from iPhone claims or sounded like that anyway. He was very vague about what they do. But when asked if it was to do with ppi claims he said no but you can claim for any agreement, I asked what kind of agreement he said anything like car loans mortgage etc. told him I hadn't got anything like that do hung up on him. Seriously fed up of being cold called as I'm listed with the TPS but it diesn't stop them. If its not these its over seas call centres they are driving me mad , swriouskt thinking of taking my phone out all together & using just my mobile.

Phoned me today with refund on my credit card, doh! haven't used my credit card in months, when started quizzing them, they hung up, DO NOT GIVE CREDIT CARD OR BANK DETAILS OUT OVER THE PHONE SIMPLE AS THAT, ask them to contact you in writing, if there legit, they will

I was called this afternoon by 01792828773.  This is obviously from a call centre, as there was the sound of several voices in the background.  No one bothered to speak to me, and after about a minute and  a half the line went dead.

Young girl with Welsh accent claiming to be phoning on behalf of a "government ministerial department" - name of company  incoherent - demanded to know why I had not claimed back PPI on my credit card.  When I said I had the line went dead.
These guys have got to be stopped - elderly people could feel intimidated and totally be taken in by their lies.  These organisations should be heavily fined for these unwanted sales calls!

Was called by this number...company IFONIC CLAIMS.....in Swansea, told me I could claim back £1000's if I paid up front for the admin etc.....a moment of weakness I did....put the phone down and came to my senses and cancelled my credit card..... Please don't pay this company any money.....this must be stopped

It is a Swansea number and just another cold caller ..... best advice leave the line open on them for half an hour and they won't phone you again.

This company just rang and this makes it the third cold call in the last 20 minutes!  I like Allan's advice of leaving the line open on them - at least no-one else can get through!!!
