- AnonThis phone number is part of a company claiming to be called Live Limited (Marketing company). they seem to be affiliated under the company EA Worldwide, and have many different names (Galaxy etc). They called me for an interview but I am going to cancel.
They dont even have a website and the person I spoke to then sent me an email saying "Angela here again". I didn't speak to an Angela before!! something dodgy...
I did call Reed, where it was advertised, and they said it was legit..but i still dont think so.- Caller: Live / EA Worldwide
- The one| 1 replyDO NOT under any circumstance go to any of their interviews.
They operate by advertising marketing Jobs, but they are really roadside charity fundraisers
Do not waste your time. They use the name Live, LMS, Galaxy etc.
They are a scam!!- Caller: Live
- information| 3 repliesHello everyone!!
Live marketing direct is another SCAM company based in London Bridge. It's part of EA WORLDWIDE ACQUISiTIONS. As this mentioned company had the worst forums in the world, they have stopped using that name (so sorry Josh Cote and wife Sara Beth King Cote who owns CAROLINA CONSULTING in london bridge as well). The office is shared with SOURCE MARKETING DIRECT, London Marketing Services, JTG Consulting (new name for London marketing services), Galaxy Marketing and many more coming!
They have 3 channels: door to door, B2B which is going to shops to talk to employeed and events which is going to shopping centres..Most of their clients are charities: British red coress, rspca, WRVS, RNIB.. Also they have Victoria Jackson make up and energy stuff.
The money: performance based is the nice way of saying you'll be working on a 100% commission basis as you'll be self-employed (in case you decide to register?. Most of the people there are not so they are breaking the law as they owe money to thr government avoiding taxes..
Hours: about 70h/week. I have worked there and i've tried the 3 channels so I know how it works in case any brainwashed person replies telling me im a loser and that i dont know. since you are self-employed you can work these hours, it would be illegal if u were employed by a company and they make u work these hours. As u finish aroun 11pm and have to be back at 9:30am (less than 12h whcih is what the law says). They will not pay for you travel expenses which is unbelievable and just another way of taking money from you guys knocking on doors or otential ones.. i work with freelancers now and we DO pay the travel, as we require their services, we are responsible for them coming to offer me that service..
The program: a lie. less than 1% will get to management. chances are once u get there, your crew will quit and u'll have to keep knocking on doors to keep recriting people as u need them to open your office. his is the case of Michael Adetona, last person doing the program in Live. Actually the first one as in one year and a half that Tom Harris has been the owner, noone has finished the program.. so the 8-10 months is another lie. Michael was great at sales (high cancellation of course as he tells potential donors they can cancel) needed more than one year to finish...
The owner: Mr Tom Harris from Australia, 23 years old now. No studies, no experience whatsoever. Just a young brainwashed guy without a life, follower of Josh Cote, the guy in the picture. Known in the office for his affairs with different girls in the office, including the "head" admin for Source Marketing Direct, Miss Courtney Sagar, also known for her emotional problems.
What you can do now: type on google EA Worlwide Acquisitions scam and you'll find a lot of information about Live or Live Marketing Direct. You can also check facebook: marketing job scams, or name and shame recruitment scams..
Also www.complaintsboard.com has complaints against Live Marketing Direct, Carolina Consulting, Source Marketing Direct...
The interent is full of information about these SCAMMERS, whatever they say...- Caller: Live
- Jennywow this is crazy!! I had an interview with Source Marketing Direct some time ago and I can't believe this company is exactly the same!! They made me follow a bloke during the whole day and he didn't even tell me it was commission! I found out on that 3rd interview at the end of the day when I asked how much money I would be earning and the guy ahd no option but to tell me the truth (the commission the other guy was hiding to make me quit my job).
If i wanted to start my own business or offer my services, i could register myself as self-employed and earn all the money myself, I don't need to be the slave of the wealthy guy on the top of the pyramid working 70h a week..

- patrickI used to work for live marketting a few months back so it is not a scam as such. However, if you have friends family and a social life do NOT do it. U work 60+ hours a week mon-sat all on comission. You walk around estates and housing areas in london knocking on doors for 6-7 hours a day.
The brainwash you with the way of working, the get you to believe that you could one day be making millions. When very few do.
If you like working 12+ hour shifts then do. I lost a lot of weight and became ill due to the lack of sleep and food whilst working for live. I too got a call from danielle and had my interviews wit mike adetona and tom harris. They are liars and very clever at manipulating people. They only recruit lots of people so that they can build 'crews' so they can get to management. They hold 'leaders' metteings in the morning for established employees on how to manipulate and get people to start this job.
Do not be fooled people. I hope some of my info has helped- Caller: live marketting

- Barney| 1 replyThanks to all the above for confirming my suspicions of this company, they have changed their name again: http://www.tonasacesolutions.co.uk/ and are recruiting in Bournemouth under "TA Solutions", and advertise heavily on jobsites etc very vague 'entry level' positions available, one of the interviewers being Michael Adetona. http://www.livelimited.co.uk/2011/03/live-mar ... to-bournemouth/
It is disheartening as a jobseeker to be given the impression that this is a genuine opportunity to advance in a new career, only to discover that this company appears to thrive and expand by preying on people desperate for a job, working them hard for little reward while dangling the carrot of possible future promotion to keep you at it.
It is a job though, and so you could conceivably make some money from it, but it's only fair that you know in advance what you are applying for, and who you will work for. So if like me, you knew something fishy was going on after your first interview, and are doing a bit of research before your second interview, I hope google brought you here, and that you found the information useful. - DanGuess what. I received an email from T.A Solutions even if i DO NOT apply to jobs. I'm more than pleased with my current income but that is not the issue. I received 2 e-mails from them. BTW. I didn't receive the phoone call :)) I don't remember companies recruiting on Sundays ( or even working for that matter at 7 pm, sundays).

- Surrey| 2 repliesive had an interview with this place and they are a bunch of bulls.... i'm sorry to say but they are...
after paying the london fare to get there and then to be told it field sales and that blaha blaha blaha for well known top brands i think the are giving those companies a bad name...
today i've had a phone call from 0208 127 3787 with a very bubbley lady which told me if i would come for an interview Live Marketing Direct but declined as i'm not looking to do anything with time waster as learn from my first so called interview this is a SCAM and people need to know as you'll end up wasting time and money getting here and being there.
I hope this helped...- Caller: Live Marketing Direct

I too got a similar call and email. - Charlotte| 3 repliesI worked at Live Marketing Direct for a year. I'm not brainwashed and am now working in the financial industry. Yes it is 100% commission, yes you work long hours and it is selling charity door to door but that is EXACTLY why you get taken on an observation day before signing any contract (although actually you are self employed so can leave at any point with no repurcussions). All of you saying it is a scam and you were tricked etc are just ridiculous - nothing is hidden from you, you just didn't ask the right questions in the interview - in which case how smart are you really? You say it is immoral to work on 100% comission but if you get a basic then you are robbing from the charities you are promoting! At the end of the day you are all whinging about being conned and how you are too good to do this role but if you are so great then why hasn't anywhere else offered you an interview? Stop whinging and be grateful for the opportunity.

LOL
The same role is still being advertised in various deliberately misleading ways on multiple job sites. All correspondence leaves out the actual job description, and the first interviewer you get evades all direct questions by launching into a tired spiel about opportunity. Rather than reveal the grim truth on the second "interview", at which point only the desperate remain to waste more time and travel expense, why not be honest from the start?
