wish i had seen this before today. literally just got hired by t.a solutions and was so happy to be in work for the first time. its very cheeky of them to disguise the 100% commission salary with 'goals'. knew it was too good to be true. unfortunately i need money right now so i'll have to follow through with the job.

Being honest from the start would mean no one would be interested. This business model is dependent upon mugs to succeed. Why do you think I left?

My son is there as I type...it's 10pm on his first 'induction' day. I haven't heard from him since 7:50pm. They told him that he'd be there until 8:30pm hence the reason why I am worried now. He's been there since 12:30pm.  I wish I'd seen these comments before and I'm so annoyed I didn't check it out. He has been out if work and he was so pleased hd managed to find a job without my help (he's 19) and I didn't want to be negative. Its reassuring from your comments that they are a legit company and he's not being held there but he certainly won't be going back there. The more I look at the website the more suspicious it is...even the press release comments are all made up.  If I don't hear from him in the next 30 minutes I'll be driving down there!!

Hahaha...he saw sense and didn't go back. I was on my way to 'rescue' him at 10:30pm last night when he called to say he had finished, already they had lied by keeping him there an extra 2 hours than what was agreed, 10 unpaid hours in total! He'd been knocking on doors on a dodgy housing estate. They were even texting him last night after he left making sure he was going back. Then texted again this morning to make sure he was on his way. When he politely replied he wasn't accepting the job they then started to ring! He ignored it. But thankfully he saw sense and probably wouldn't have realised what a joke the 'job' was if it wasn't for this forum. So thanks everyone for making the effort to post and warn others.

Ugh... What a shambolic waste of time.
I went into the interview totally confused, thinking it was a recruitment agency! Stupid TA Solutions... All my answers to questions were centred around the premise that I wasn't there for a particular job, but so that the agency could get to know more about me and so learn what roles I might be fit for.
Turns out they were offering me a managerial entry level training program, AND THEY STILL SAID CONGRATULATIONS!!! What company would take on someone who has just told them what they'd rather be doing for a living?
Thats when I looked them up. Thanks so much for posting guys! You saved me a day of looking round a sham company, now I can enjoy the sunshine, lie on the beach, and see my darling girlfriend who I'm very much fond of!! :DDD (And perhaps look for another job... :-/)

applied for a job with live marketing direct via jobsite, and I have been called to interview. On the email it said that sportsmen and team sports players will do really well, in other words people who are phisically fit. That got my suspitions up and I am very glad I found this forum! Looks like I won't be attending that interview... perhaps I should send an email back telling them I'm morbidly obese so they won't bother me again!!!

    Thanks guys

I have just attended an interview at 'PAP WORLDWIDE' otherwise known as TA Solutions in Bournemouth and they are very convincing about the possibilities for you to progress to management within the company, but like others have written they are very vague about giving you any real information about the company or the pay. I did ask if it was commission based an he told me it was but there was opportunity to earn regular wage via 'goal orientated targets'. This rang alarms bells hence why I have come home to look up the company name before attending a second interview. Very thankful google god brought me here and when they phone me to tell me I am successful for second interview I will tell them to shove it where the sun shines :) Do not go for this company no matter what name they are it is not worth the workhorse you will become, I am not desperate for job but if I was I still wouldn't go anywhere near a soulless company such as this. Happy Job Hunting everyone!

Thanks for this guys, although I'd applied to a multitude of jobs on Gumtree I got an instant reply back off this company, (I'm still waiting for the rest although it hasn't been that long). Even the vague advert for the job I was a bit suspicious but I thought it was probably just some sub-letting recruitment agency for a job working on call sales, (which there seems to be an abundance of here in Bournemouth). After I got a very easy going call offering an interview I Googled them finding their site which looked like a home-made blog replete with spelling mistakes. Hence I tried the search 'ta solutions scam' and found myself here. Thanks again,

Also, in regards to that woman Charlotte who posted on here previously that's a horrible attitude. I know you're trying to justify the fact you stayed with these people a whole year but that's still not nice. It's nasty opportunistic companies like this who act as predators in times of recession that are the problem as we're all in this jobless market together, (accentuated by the fact I'm another graduate in debt).

Either way, one of their 'requirements' was that I was 'fashion savvy' so I might just turn up to the interview in a clown suit...

    Hi everyone,
hopefully I found this!Just today I had e-mails and a phone call for my interview set for tomorrow with T.A. Solutions. As I've been job hunting for a while and literally been sending cvs all day, I couldn't remember what the post was for, so I started checking it out. I was a bit suspicious by the rapidity of the interview and also by the fact that couldn't find any reasonable information about the company and the job.
To be honest I was escited at firts for obtaining an interview, but came down to earth soon and started checking. Thanks to all your comment I won't be there tomorrow and be much more careful when applying online!
BTW, the e-mails are all the same I had the same one!It only changes the name.. they must be short of creativity! ;)

I applied for Live Marketing Direct last night (sunday) and got an email at about 10 past 9 this morning...In the email, the woman said that because of how busy she would be in the morning that I should call after 2pm. Well about half an hour after I read the email, SHE called me...
At first I was excited but now that I've done some research and seen how similar the emails are over such a space of time, and how vague their website and job description is, I think I'll be cancelling tomorrow. I was given an impression of a set wage and not commision on the phone...
So thank you all for putting up your experiences, I'm sorry to hear that they've not been good but I'm grateful for the warning.

Also it's a little too coincidental that the woman on the phone happened to be from the same area I live in...

Yea I just got a call today leaving work from Live and Direct marketing.  I was really excited at first.  They said I had applied as an entry level consultant (and something else) and I thought maybe I had.  I applied to alot of jobs on craigslist and monster so maybe I hit up something decent.  I was skeptical though, I had applied only a day or two earlier and to have a reply so soon seemed odd.  I went back home and had a detailed email with directions.  The lady I spoke to on the phone had even asked me to replyto that email, just to make sure I got it.  I found this forum though and Im glad I wont be wastingmy time and money going down there tomorrow.

This company is also trading as Global Marketing Ltd in Bournemouth (same office as TA Solutions) and also running the same scam so be careful. Do not go for any interview as it will be a waste of time and money.

They make out that there is a 4 tier training programme and in 8 months you will be earning £750 a week and eventually leading a marketing campaign, in reality you will be walking the streets trying to make a few pence by scamming people out of money.
