I'm getting 1 to 2 calls a day from this number.
When I pick up, its silent.

I have received 1 x voice message from this number before. It was about some competition details. I just deleted it.

Same thing happened to me today. Called Vodaphone and they were not willing to take action in blocking the number. Instead they advised to block the number on my mobile...

I received a call on my mobile which is also with vodaphone how do I block this number or caller?

Getting 3 calls a day, and vodafone customer service are doing nothing about it. It is obviously a scam. Idiots on the phone at vodafone say "its too hard to control"

Im about to disconnect my mobile and my vodafone broadband cause of this.

is this a legitimate call from vodafone?

Thing happend to my mate the other day also, however, he has now switched his number from Vodafone to Optus and he still gets them, past year now. Seems to me though Vodafone had a database hack.

So far I have received 2 missed calls in 2 days, when i call the numberback it "is not in use"

Very odd, can only assume it is some sort of scam....

I have had the same problems as you guys, and I don't know where you get this thing saying that Vodafone told you to block the number or that 'Idiots on the phone at vodafone say "its too hard to control"'... I emailed them and this is the reply I got.

The number 0414113600 is Vodafone trying to contact you. They may be offering a reward for being a loyal customer or doing a check that you are happy with the service. Once they do speak to you the calls will stop. You are unable to return the call as it is for outbound calls only.

We can remove you form the list but this would mean that you would miss out on any rewards that may be offered. Please advise if you would like your number removed.

I'm a vodafone customer and I had a call from this number today. The guy at the other end said he was from vodafone and he just wanted to know how my vodafone service was going.

I asked him when my contract was due to finish, but he then asked for my pin number or I had to answer 3 identification questions.

I wasn't totally convinced that this guy was actually from vodafone, so I asked if there was some way he could prove to me that he worked for vodafone. He said that he couldn't give out any of my information without me first identifying myself.

I asked if I could call 1555 and speak to him directly, but he said that I wouldn't be able to get a hold of him.

In the end, I didn't want to give out my details to him so I said I'd call the 1555 number instead.

Judging by the previous comment, it looks like it was a legit vodafone number though.

Just got a missed call from this number 10 minutes ago, tried calling it back and it could not connect and stated "Connection Error"

I am with Vodafone too...


It appears that we are all with Vodafone... based on the above comment by "James" - Vodafone may be having our details leaked... my advice is to be on guard if this number calls asking for personal information.

Got a call from this number today .. I work for Telstra and have a mobile phone with Vodafone so I am going to use my internal contacts to figure this out .. i will let you all know.

I got a call too, I thought it may be the one night stand I had on the weekend so didnt answer. I wish Vodafone would stop worrynig me.

I had a missed call today from that number and called it back and says number not in use.....Im with vodafone too

Got a call today from 0414113600, i let it go through to message bank - I googled it and found this site. Will be checking every strange number here. Glad i didn't answer it from what i am reading

I got a call from 0414113600, they said that they were from Vodafone and my contract was almost up and would I like to renew it and recieve a phone.
They asked for my password, and I did not give it.
I said my contract was renewed three months ago. I said that if you do not know when my contract was up, then you must not be from Vodafone.
I then said goodbye and hung up. I would not trust that number.

Some further information, a person who worked for Vodafone has told me
that Vodafone never ask for a password on a cold call.
They only ask for it if you call them.
I think the caller from this number is only after your password.

It Is Vodafone, confirmed.  The called me, I answer, nice lady asked me if I wanted to upgrade my phone as I was half-way through my contract, I asked her to quote my phone number and full name before I would answer anything.  At first she said she wasn't allowed to give out confidential information, but then I said, she had called Me and I had to confirm with whom I was speaking.  She obliged, then asked me if I wanted to upgrade my handset, if I was happy with my plan and all that. And I asked her to look on her records and check when I last upgraded my phone and if she thinks she can best that (as I had just claimed insurance and gotten the newest phone in that range), she then read through the notes and said, "oh I can see here that you just made and insurance claim and currently have the "blah blah model number" .. That's the newest one out .. So your happy with your plan then?" and the usual preamble.  But to state it clearly yes this is Vodafone, it is a ONE way number, you cannot call it back, you cannot message it, but if you contact Vodafone on 1555 they will confirm it is a Vodafone sales rep or whatever trying to sell you stuff.. That and I checked on our systems at work and we have it registered to the Vodafone corporation as a sales number :P

I actually work at the Vodafone call centre and didnt know of this number until i found this site
